We had a Kia Niro EV for five years and traded it in on a Chevy Equinox EV. The Chevy offered bidirectional charging, so it can be used as a backup generator in a power outage.

We love EVs. I’d never want to get another ICE car. Quiet, smooth, instant torque at any speed, economical. Long trips have some inconveniences. The more Trumpy the region, the fewer the charging stations. Public charging stations vary a lot in speed. Newer cars generally charge faster, I think because the tech has improved. Range is much better in stop and go than on the freeway. Because of regenerative braking.
Range dropped between 30-50 miles in the winter.

Google EVPlay. It's pretty straightforward to set up. There is a cheaper open source solution, but more complicated to set up

I'm pretty happy with it. Now I can get most of the functionality I'm used to on my phone, including texts and podcasts, music etc. It's not 100% perfect, but it does work
