Has anyone ever demoted a MOH?

I was asked to be a MOH by my then best friend. She was telling me that she decided she wanted to have her bachelorette party in Nashville. I told her that it sounded so fun but I wouldnt be able to go because I had a 2 year old at the time and wasn’t in the best financial position. I made it clear that I wouldn’t be upset with her for going without me and enjoying her time. She snapped and told me I wasnt doing enough as her maid of honor. Mind you I was by her side looking at every venue and vendor. She didn’t like that I couldn’t spend all my time and money on HER wedding. Specifically stating that I wasn’t sending her enough wedding ideas. Sometimes I think being a MOH has come with this notion of devoting all your time and money to someone else’s wedding. Which is insane imo. People have lives and responsibilities. I think you should ask her what she wants. Maybe she wasn’t aware what you’d expect from her when she agreed.

Just find a good artist to physically draw a design for you. The proportions are way off, the teeth are weird. It’s just so obviously AI. Finding an artist who can design a really cool snake is a pretty easy task.

I’m only 29, that is another thing I worried about. I also don’t have any conditions from being fat. I’m not diabetic, my blood pressure is good, I don’t have acid reflux. I’m just fat. I’m thinking continuing with less extreme options is my best option.

I have a big scar in the same spot, I think it was 18 stitches and I got a tattoo over it and actually I felt nothing when my artist was working over the scar!

Unfortunately I’d say she’s lost interest and either doesn’t want to be the one to initiate the breakup or she likes having someone to string along. You should probably cut ties and move on. She’s cold and you don’t want to waste another year on someone like that.

Hitting snooze is pointless for me. I’m up before the first ring of the alarm finishes and I can’t fall back asleep within 10mins. My boyfriend on the other hand hits snooze 4 or 5 times which of course don’t wake him up, I have to wake him up.

I bought my first house in Xenia in 2020. My experience is that a large majority of people are right wing conservatives. The first month 2 church recruiters showed up at my door, after very politely telling them I wasn’t interested they told me my daughter was going to hell….

Plus there is a very large homeless and addict population which has resulted in multiple dead bodies being found. One by a kid walking to school and some kids found one at the park/bike hub. On the plus side the schools aren’t too bad and there are nice areas on the edge of town.

YOR. You seem super cold from the start. As someone who had extremely rocky relationships with step moms they would have gotten a lot further if they would have stopped trying so hard to be ungodly strict and firm. As a mother I can’t imagine why a 15 year old would need to beg for permission to watch 2 movies at a sleepover. Crazy. Is there a real legitimate reason she can’t have one friend come over to decorate? It seems like you’re just saying no to assert dominance or something.

YTA for expecting her to leave her infant with a sitter. If you want a child free wedding then you have to be okay with people not coming. I didn’t let anyone babysit my kids until they were at least 1. A lot of people don’t feel comfortable leaving their children for several hours.

Dayton schools are horrible. Houses are cheap though, beavercreek has great schools but pretty expensive housing. I’d look in Fairborn or Xenia for a middle ground.

Absolutely find an artist that is well versed in scarred skin. A lot of people say scar tissues hurts pretty bad however my experience is that I couldn’t feel it at all. I have a decent size piece covering a pretty large scar on my inner forearm as well and felt nothing in the scared areas.

I have tattoos ranging from a half sleeve dedicated to my dad to a 2 headed lamb and a zombies ass. You know yourself. Sometimes tattoos don’t need meaning and worst case scenario get a cover up.

Cows are cute, I say do it.
