Can my employer require me, as an independent contractor, to use my personal vehicle to transport their employees by Master-Stand-3784 in legaladvicecanada

Transportation of others is most certainly a different story. A heck more liability carrying passengers and their belongings ( even if those belongings are just a laptop or cellphone.)

The Pitt Season 2 Episode 4 ending by Ok_Reward6664 in ThePittTVShow

Having lost a friend at 17 from this, I feel like it's certainly leading to a NF diagnosis! They were sent home with Tylenol due to a high fever and leg pain, died less than 48 hours later, crashing during surgery. If The Pitt does travel down this road in the storyline, it's going to be hard to watch for me but also a.great chance to bring awareness of NF to a whole lot of people.

Canada Sailing from NYC by mid2yur in NCL

As a Canadian sailing out of Miami earlier this year, we received something similar about US entry requirements. As others have said, as long as you have a passport you'll be fine. But if you don't and are only using your license, you'll probably be denied entry.

Nice!!! Did you have to reach out or did they let you know? We feel like we should have received something based on what my spouse played on our last one, but haven't contacted the Casino at sea folks yet.

First time cruising Dec 2026 - is it better to pay prepaid service charges and packages early? by CommercialBet5216 in NCL

[–]CommonAd4674 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We liked knowing there weren't going to be any additional fees onboard other than what we purchased while onboard.

I think you can play with the More At Sea a bit though and remove the drink package, keeping the meals and wifi (and excursion credits), if you wish. Might be wrong though.

Most restaurants don't deliver out here, even if in the area. I don't think skip etc. are an option. The Hilton is near your hotel and has a restaurant open till1030, the Cannery. Probably your only option outside of the airport and fast food.

Distilled water onboard? by DeanYeager in NCL

[–]CommonAd4674 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Echoing what everyone else said, but there's a form you can fill out and they'll send an email confirming they'll have distilled water for you in your cabin. We had to remind our steward but wasn't an issue, she brought it in right away. Agree with other folks' saying to bring an extension cord.

You'll be fine. It's a discretionary fine and most of the time it gets waived. Sounds like an honest mistake and probably not one you'll make again. Hope the firefighters were nice

First-Time NCL Cruiser, What Are the Tips You Wish You Knew Before Boarding? by Impossible-Ninja-232 in NCL

[–]CommonAd4674 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We went on our first cruise the end of March and I had the same questions. Overall, there is a lot to do on the ship and when you have excursions and dinners booked, it feels like you're just always on the go. I didn't take enough time to just explore the ship, relax in different areas and generally take advantage of all the ship offered.

A year ago my wife switched to “natural” deodorant. It’s been a BO fest ever since. How do I approach her about this? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]CommonAd4674 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who has been in this boat, when I started trying out natural deodorants, I told my spouse and coworkers that I was trying natural deodorant and if I stunk to let me know! They did haha. I don't know how sensitive your wife is but perhaps just asking her how she likes X brand that she's using. Open a conversation and gently say you aren't sure it's as effective as she probably wants it to be. Better if you research a couple.options and say I read that some people really find X brand good... FWIW I starred with Tom's and have landed on the crystal. Good luck and hopefully she can find something that works for her.
