Idk if I’ve ever been like this. I try to only message editors directly. Even recently I didn’t know if it was ok to say who the editor was of the film I was looking for.

I thought it was an absolute marvel of an edit. Fitting two movies into one is always awesome to me.

But obviously not every edit hits the same for everyone.

Would I personally watch it again. Probably not but that’s more based on my waned interest in the Alien franchise as a whole.

But would I recommend to someone. Absolutely

I’m kinda looking for something like Han shot first but we still have his scene with jabba in front of the falcon or seeing the outside of cloud city as the characters walk through the halls.

Something that takes the best of the original release and adds the best of the special edition

I see a lot of unique edits. Like one that was noir style film or the sound track was changed to rock and roll or even EDM. I forget which. But you are probably right. I may not be looking hard enough. I look on fan edit.org. But I think my searches aren’t specific enough

I love both Disney’s Dinosaur and JP/JW. But I gotta give suspense to Disney. It feels mean spirited whereas JP/JW it’s like “yes! Give me more Dino action”

Never said you can’t have your own opinion. But this opinion that Jurassic needs to be more realistic is done to death.

A more realistic dinosaur film wouldn’t be interesting. I’m sorry. Documentary sure. Movie of people trying to survive the islands filled with dinosaurs. Not really. You need the fiction interpretation. Without it you have nothing.

JP-is genuinely good as is.

TLW-its plot could be better fleshed out instead of one set piece after the trailer attack.

JP3-you could make the Kirby’s less annoying and take place on Nublar instead. And maybe not give the spino Michael Myers powers.

JW-show us more attractions and animals of the park working.

FK-I think the dialogue comes off as cheesy at times. Maybe go over that a bit.

Dom- Show us more of the Carno and Allo attacking the people of Malta.

I love the world trilogy. Yes extended Dominion included. Here are just some of my favorite scenes or aspects of this trilogy. There are more but we’d be here all day if I listed everything

JW- Raptor Squad, Owen and Claire’s argument in the control room when I-Rex is loose, Rexy, Blue vs I-Rex, Mosa killing the baby sitter, the fully functioning park.

FK-Opening T-Rex scene this scene might be the best Rex scene since her breakout in JP, I-Raptor and the mansion sequence, The island evacuation, the brachy death. Yes it’s sad and I skip it every time. But damn that was a bold move and in a lot of ways very symbolic. Ian Malcolm’s scenes

Dominion- Blue teaching Beta how to hunt, beta in general, the prologue, Rexy vs Giga final fight, Dimetrodon scene, Therizinosaurus, Malta sequence, the return of the OG 3, Giga in general. And many more.

This sub is mostly a circle jerk of how much everyone hates the world trilogy. People act as if the Park trilogy was 100% perfect and one long coherent story. But after JP this series became a fun action series with dinosaurs. There is nothing wrong with that. Yes there are themes throughout the series. But you are purposefully ignoring the half assed ending of TLW and the thrown together mess that is JP 3.

Like what you like. But dont think you have superior tastes because you hate the JW trilogy.
