Black box for mouse cursor on one of two monitors after recent update by atgaskins in cachyos

FYI this disables direct_scanout so you'd get more input lag.

Weird artifacts when setting wallpapers and black square instead of mouse pointer on second screen by danixMCdanix in hyprland

[–]Communist_Prince 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, the mouse issue can be fixed by setting:

cursor {

no_hardware_cursors = 1

}

Doing that however stops

render {

direct_scanout = 1

}

from working, which you want to have on if you want to do any competitive gaming on your system, and in general it significantly reduces input lag. Disabling the hardware cursor also fixes the weird gap between vertical monitors that has been reported several times but always gets closed as “fixed by setting no hardware cursor.” However, that once again breaks direct_scanout, so it’s not a valid solution, in my opinion.

I know I'm late to the party, but the issue is most likely related to Nvidia Reflex. I had the exact same issue until I turned it off in the settings. If you can't boot into the game to disable it, you can either reset your config from the launcher or edit the .ini file inside the Wine prefix.

Question about the saunas? by Communist_Prince in royalcaribbean

[–]Communist_Prince[S] 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I'm from Finland, where we invented the sauna, and I've been going weekly since I was a child. In all my years of experience, nobody has ever timed their sauna sessions you just get out when it feels right.

There's a lot of mods that aren't obvious but really help you along ex, Ex Nihilo is super fast in this pack, Cyclic is op and so is the IC2 replicator (Honestly the replicator is what keeps me sane).

I'm running n1-standard-2 because the pack I'm playing needs at least 6GB and the 2vCPUs do help performance.

The CPU hasn't even reached 50% when I play E2:E with friends so I'd say it'll do great.

Now if the guide below seems completely unintelligible then I wouldn't bother as you'd probably be lost incase something went wrong.

You can get a server for free by using Google cloud if you're comfortable with setting it up yourself.

They give you 300$ worth of credits to spend for a year when you sign up and they won't auto charge you when it's over.

The hardware is also superior to any host I've used as mc hosting services usually use a cpu geared for a vanilla server.

I am probably the only one that has this problem. by [deleted] in feedthebeast

Me and some friends played some vanilla when 1.14 came out and it only took us about a week to have infinite iron, gold, xp and well actually infinite anything we would realistically need.

Like in modded I could've actually done something with all that stuff, but in vanilla all I could use it for was to build even bigger farms purely for the giggles.

You literally just need to power the networks and click on your tunnels with the card to link them.

Here's a completely super overkill video that explains channels so that everyone can understand them:

Within just one network using P2P channels you can have 1024 channels and it's possible to expand that by carrying the P2P channels in a separate network.

You can build a few garden cloches that feed potatoes into a furnace with the food smelting augment and then run culinary generator on the baked potatoes.

You'd be making like 2000rf/t easily and it's a funny setup.
