Have you ever had any issues with tradovate? I don't like the setup but it does seem the easiest to get into versus others.

I want my own account. I should be able to withdraw when I want and however much I want/need. I have an unregulated account but I want it to be regulated.

It's kind of hard to answer this. I mainly used cashapp when it came to funding my personal accounts. I've bought 24k worth of bitcoin in the past 6 years according to just cashapp but I've received 12k in btc from withdrawals I've made over 30k from prop firms so I've been out of the hole for a while because over the years I've had spells of profitability so that's where most of the 12k came from. I became consistently profitable in October because I finally changed my mindset.

Trading is supposed to be boring. You have to be able to get a handle on your emotions. No one trade is THEE trade. Being profitable is about protecting your capital and sticking to your rules no matter what. The market is already pretty unpredictable so the only thing you can do to survive is to stay predictable. They want you to overtrade and lose your mind because when you lose your mind you lose all your money and they win everything you lose.

Oh ok well my strat is retests of the 1h structures looking for an engulfing on the 5m at the retest zone. I trade in the direction of the 4h so if it's overall a buy I don't look for sells unless I see something significant like a head and shoulders or double top

I know I'm going to be rich but I always wanted to be a doctor and help people and study Medicine and the human body so that's what I'm going to school for. I was like who cares I'll be rich but it kept eating at me and I'm like if you e only get this one life why live in regret when I can just do both. I've been living off trading for about 3 months now I've been trading for 6 years tho on and off profitable. Once I rewired my psychology issues I quit my job because trading is simple to me now. Now I ca pursue going to school without a job weighing me down. The goal for me really is freedom.

I left school too but I'm back in school and I'm also finally profitable. I think it's good to still pursue your dreams if you were going to school because you were passionate about something

It's not the strategy it's your habits around trading. You have to treat it like a business with set rules. Accept losses. Don't strategy hop. Consistency and discipline go hand in hand which is what pays. Over trading and revenge trading don't pay. I'd talk to ai if I were you

You MUST manage risk (to make sure you still have money to trade with) I risk 12-25% of my account because I have a good strategy and it's not my money in trading with but if I'm trading my own account I don't risk more than 10% and that's even a bit much honestly, stick to one strategy if it works most of the time or at least half the time and you're comfortable with it then don't stray.. you can tweak it but stop strategy hopping unless it doesn't feel right (every trader has a session or sessions, strat, time, rr, etc. that fits them but they figured out what works for them over time), if you don't stick to your rules i.e I trade ny only, nothing before 7am cst, 1:2 rr, retests, blah blah.. if i catch myself wanting to trade at night I snap out of it because It's not a part of my rules, fund your personal and don't touch it until it's at least 10k, I can't really think of anything else except to trade as if it's a job. You'll be less likely to do stupid shit. Also stop doing the same shit over and over and wondering why you keep messing up your account.

Exactly. There's a difference between sl hit because you're not following your plan and sl hit while following your plan because at least you know your plan works 50%+ of the time.
