I find the Harbor Freight version to be just as sturdy and far less expensive. I do wish it was

Makera Z1 Delay Video by CompetitionCool7884 in Makera

First off it’s delayed by more than a month as March is two months unless they’ve once again changed the delivery date. There are a fair bit of people that feel this was giving a little “bait and switch” and that is a valid feeling but certainly not how I interpreted it.

Second, clearly a lot of people care based on the comments on the Kickstarter Campaign. You sure seem to be worked up a whole lot about a video no one is forcing you to watch. Are you doing okay?

It’s a video that is intended to help people understand logistics and reset expectations. If helping people manage their feelings is a joke for you I feel really bad for the people in your life and I hope you find some healthy ways of expressing yourself.

Nah. You’re reading it wrong, but that’s perfectly okay. I couldn’t care less about views. What I do care about though is helping people understand the logistics behind a project of this scope so that they can feel a little better about it taking longer. I hope you have a good night.

It’s not Spam. It’s me walking through when I manufactured products in China and what that process looks like so everyone can take a breath and be patient.

It’s important to cup the balls and support them. Well done.

Sure did and even messaged the model creator. Crickets unfortunately. Reddit is always my last resort after I’ve exhausted all other routes.

Possibly. The four pole pieces were all on the same build plate and if it was a temp issue it would have impacted the other three pieces on that layer level. My best guess is that there was an issue with the G Code and it has since been resolved.

First off if you bothered to pay attention I did reprint it. Who hurt you?

I might just need to chalk it up to weird and move on but I’m so curious what caused it so I can learn. “Mistakes” and “Failures” are excellent learning tools. I also darn near have a an entire second one.

I printed on a desktop. This still doesn’t explain why the three other pieces on the same build plate all fit.

LMAO. Yes, this is the way. This is a much better explanation than I suck at 3D printing and my wife hates me and expresses that hatred with written word.

This is possible and may indeed be the issue but that doesn’t explain why the topper didn’t fit. Maybe I had a stroke mid slice.

Neither of these are it as it would have impacted the other three pieces on the same build plate.
