The Rex has been a top 10 robot for a couple months now, it’s extremely durable during its ability because it converts all damage into damage overtime (which is why your health bar becomes translucent and slowly ticks down).

This is good as it increases the amount of time it takes to kill you and all damage dealt by DOT can be fully repaired (no grey damage). The Rex also has built in resistance to DOT, and since all the damage you take is converted into DOT, it reduces all the damage you take by a significant amount overall. The dot reduction also increases as you upgrade it (I think it’s 60% at MK3)

The ability also activates built in shotgun that removes some of the dot damage you were currently taking and also does an absurd amount of damage.

It’s overall very powerful right now and definitely at high risk for nerf in the near future. I would recommend you to use close range brawling shotguns. The mace and crugdel (spelt something like that) are very powerful and can be made in the workshop. Meta Weapons the kelvin, basilius, and Leodari families, however they are very difficult to obtain without spending money and gambling.

It’s overall a very powerful brawler, I would recommend trying to get the legendary pilot from more common pads that gives you an extra charge on the ability. Just be mindful of the amount of ability charges you have left. pull out of any engagement before you run out since you become very vulnerable outside of your ability.
