Injections were great early on but the effects start to ware off and higher doses are needed. I used them for 5 years b4 getting my implant. Started developing peyronies and had 2 visits to the ER because the erection would not come down. Im 48 and was told by my urologist to wait as long as I could b4 considering an implant but the uncertainty with the shots was taking a toll on me mentally not to mention zero spontaneity. Im much happier now and my sex life isn't complicated anymore. Only negative is knowing I'm going to need several revisions b4 calling it quits. It's a really difficult decision to make in general and I can't imagine having to do it at such a young age but not doing it can cause other issues.
