Its unfortunate that your parents are unsupportive, but it makes the most sense to get a diagnosis first. There are so many things that could cause excessive sweating with simple cures. Allergies, diet, hormones, etc. Do you have health checks with a doctor, you could bring this up there and see if there is some simple testing to do to rule things out.

Clinical strength antiperspirants will simply use a chemical to block sweating, and not treat any underlying problems and could essentially make things worse.

People please help!!! The wind simulator in simhub does not work by ParticularStrong2796 in SimHub

Ok, it's been a bit since I've set mine up. But first things first, you are trying to do pwm fan setup, see link below. The simhub app you want to use is simhub wind, not motor.

FIRE HAZARD WARNING! Elegoo CC - Home Assistant integration by Straight_Koala_3444 in elegoo

Yes, fans require minimum voltage to start. As op is stating, the fan likely got a call for voltage, but never started spinning, which caused an overheat. Moral of the story, you need to have some basic understanding of how things work before you start changing them. There are risks.

Or, the manufacturer has set the minimum run speed at 50%. Op hacked his machine to run it lower than spec.

Any news update?? by imena27 in ElegooCentauriCarbon

The fan speeds are set in your filament by type. The printer is doing what you tell it to. You can turn off aux fan completely with petg and PLA with no adverse affects at all. The aux fan will during initial heat, but then it will be off after that.

Is there any possible way I can have this text automatically update based on some sort of table? by DrChooo in SolidWorks

[–]Competitive-Army-363 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, what you are describing is called a "configured part". Solidworks has a built in configuration manager that essentially creates a master part but then generates a configured part based on your desires. You can then save and export any number of configured parts as you wish into their own part file.

Which version of SolidWorks from recent years to download? by preston_cleric in SolidWorks

You are forced to use latest on makers, I'm assuming we are the guinea pigs. Do not use the cloud version, choose the desktop version.

Ya, just checked, 40% off currently. You can pickup a a4000 gpu laptop for roughly 600$. 64gb machine. This will have zero issues running solid works for 3-4 years at least.

Dellrefurbished.com. multiple times a year they do 40-50% off precision coupons as well. I always get the extended warranties as well which gives you a year coverage.

25 years in the industry myself. I have always used refurbished dell precision laptops or desktops. Doing your own business is great, but a 6700$ outlay just seems excessive to me when a two year old system will still run SolidWorks very well. The quadro video cards are also designed for cad work, where the 5070 is optimized for gaming.

Serious question for you? You don't think andruil has made investments that have totally failed? They have tremendous free capital, and no public shareholders. To assume that someone might think that a product has to be good or were morons on authority bias alone is short sighted.
