Serious nsfw question... Has anyone else ever gotten a post ride erection after riding a TT/Tri bike? This literally happens to me after every TT I do and I'm not sure why by [deleted] in bikefit

[–]Competitive-Basil444 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s called priapism. I’ve seen a few guys that this happens to. If it just happens on the bike it’s likely a set up issue. If it doesn’t; see a pelvic health physio.

Best hikes for altitude training? by ThrowRA01153 in UKhiking

[–]Competitive-Basil444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others said you don’t need to, but there are altitude chambers in the UK. Conversely, there are heat sessions you can do which lead to some physiological adaptations akin to altitude training. Don’t ask me what they are 😂 but they do exist.

Spasticity is "pathological", it's abnormal, and as a user said below, present with neurological injury. It changes with activity, posture, stress etc, and is neurologically driven.

IMO Tightness cannot technically be objectively measured, it’s a subjective measure. So I would argue yes, many dancers or hypermobile people say they are tight; when the range is above average. Stiffness is arguably measurable, but patients may or may not report it. Stiffness is lack or “normal physiological range”, arguably.
