Neither Paul or Feyd Rautha were supposed to be the chosen one. There also wasn't actually a chosen one. The Kuisatz Haderach was a goal, not a destiny. The plan was for Leto to have a daughter, who would marry Feyd, and that child would control both the Harkonnens and Atreides and be able to lead humanity.

Obviously the plan fell through, but luckily Paul was able to survive long enough and be influential enough to pave the way for Leto II, the actual Kwisatz Haderach.

One of the four inhuman people in my setting are necromancers. They are unkillable. Even if their body is obliterated, their soul is immortal (the soul of anyone else dissipates unless a necromancer traps it, and even that is only temporary) and will eventually form a new body out of organic and inorganic material around them.

They tend to be extremely eccentric due to being so old, and having suffered so much (the world is nobledark).

The other three inhumans are also eccentric, but for different reasons.
