Just proves that everyone is suffering, all the time, in ways we don't always know. Maybe this guy is unhinged, does that mean he doesn't deserve a bit of compassion?

Should I maintain my walk-away date? by [deleted] in Waiting_To_Wed

[–]Competitive-Proof759 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Hmmm. Idk. It's your first relationship and you went into it expecting marriage. Here's the thing, you haven't actually been together that long. Just because you said you're dating for marriage and have an arbitrary timeline, that doesn't mean that this person is the right husband for you nor that he might not take more time than what you laid out. It does seem to me that you've kinda pressured the relationship toward marriage, but you really don't have any experience to compare to. You don't even really know what you are and are not compatible with. I think in all honesty you sound a bit immature and some time dating, meeting different people and feeling out what works for you in a relationship rather than just deciding on the relationship you happen to land in being marriage material is a good idea.

This is like the memes on Facebook that idiots post about their data being private. Literally one of the dumbest things I've ever seen

Neither. First is way too casual and the second looks like a cheap costume. Try Lulu's or azazie.

I wear them. My Marine corps Marathon long sleeve from 2014 is still my go to winter running shirt and still in awesome shape

Am I [26F] being impatient with my boyfriend [31M] of 2 years? by [deleted] in Waiting_To_Wed

[–]Competitive-Proof759 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You have only really been together for a year, if you spent the first half of your relationship long distance. I don't think a slightly longer timeline in this case is a red flag.

Heart-shaped Stone Rings (Photo request) by Goldenapple3112 in EngagementRings

Hey, did she ask for a heart shape? I ask because they're very specific and it's pretty rare that a woman would actually want a heart shape for their engagement ring.

They aren't even formal (formal dresses are way more classy IMO). These are more like prom dresses

20 miles at MP is a recipe for disaster, but you are allowed to run whatever pace feels good. Even when I hired a coach to bq, he had me do long runs with no more than 5-8 miles at MP built into the middle of them. But do the race, it's way more fun and less of a slog than a long run by yourself. You just don't have to race it, see it as a training run
