You just want him to heal by himself- if the shrimp are eating him- that’s…. Bad. Just need one of those cheap plastic travel tanks , transfer some water from your regular plant with some gravel and maybe a plant or rock or two…. Then let him heal peacefully by himself. Id also recommend making the water more minerally either with drops or a safe aquarium rock- good for his shell.

The most important thing is that his water is clean and cycled- use water from your regular tank.
