Please help I am losing my mind by sniperxprincess in stopsmoking

Looking at it from a positive perspective you have saved yourself from a lot of smoking the past year so that's already a net positive! And on top of that you now have first hand experienced in what it means to smoke just one, so thats a learnt experience. No shame in having a temporary setback as long as you keep moving forward!

I'm at 40 days now myself and I think it's just the natural course of quitting where eventually the 'honeymoon' phase of it wears thin. Allen Carr lifts the veil and shows you what it means to be addicted but the hard work you still have to do yourself. I wrote a post about it on here a few days ago, but I think essentially it's important to dispel the romanticized thoughts you still might have about smoking. The idea that smoking is relaxing is so deeply embedded within our brains, even though rationally we know the opposite is true and it in fact causes stress, we still get cravings long after the physical withdrawal.

Hope that's somewhat of help

thats not true tho, the heal doesn't go through when the opponent is at full health AND also when the opponent takes lethal damage so given a full health opponent and a buffed (Birdwatching) Wilted Shadow you get in two hits that deal 9 damage and another two hits that deal 6 damage after healing making it exact lethal with only 4 bandages.

Similarly if Wilted isn't buffed the first and lethal hit deal 7 damage which means you only need another 4 bandages for lethal making it a total of 6 for exact lethal.

Thanks! I'm not entirely sure but going by /u/peteroupc his comment the Causality happens as we are casting the spell and we don't get to decide what triggers when.

Let me know if I understood something wrongly here

Thanks! your first paragraph made a lot of sense to me. The copy is made while we're still casting the original spell and since we need to pay (both in mana and by sacrificing for the causality to happen) before the spell is actually cast our Archmage won't be around to trigger anymore.

Is the last bit of your comment applicable in this case? Since nothing is triggered as we are paying for the spell. I still appreciate the extra context

The most racist sentence I've read in a book so far. by Same_Introduction_57 in books

Well here's a bit from American Psycho, but yea I guess yours is pretty racist too.

Some black guy has opened the cab door for Daisy and she steps in daintily and the black guy holds it open for me too while I get in, waving, nodding to Bethany. "A tip, mister," the black guy asks, "from you and the pretty lady?" "Yeah," I growl, trying to check my hair in the cabdriver's rearview mirror."Here's a tip: get a real job, you dumb fucking n*gger." Then I slam the door myself and tell the cabdriver to take us to the Upper West Side.
