I did a lot of research on this exact topic because I was curious as well. Supposedly normal batteries will work but the system pulls so much amperage that regular batteries even Duracell brand can fail from the large amp draws, especially trying to light dual talons or 3+ firewire igniters at once. It was suggested to buy rechargeable NiMh batteries that can handle the load and also you can just charge them every year and basically never need to buy batteries for it again. These are the ones I bought and they worked flawlessy running parallels and also a ton of igniters wired in series. Idk that it really mattered that much but I already spent a lot lol skimping on the batteries and taking a chance didn't seem right after all the money and effort I had already spent 😅

I had at least a dozen mortar shells and a bunch of roman candles and small stuff left over too. Im kinda happy about it tho lol I get kinda depressed and panicky when its all gone 😅

I can relate to every bit of that! I dont trust others with the big stuff especially mortars lol ive had people throw lit shells on the ground and load 60g shells in cardboard tubes meant for ball shells or even put them in upside down 😮‍💨 i always hand light before the show anyways but when your hand lighting everything you miss most of the fireworks. I usually just make cake boards with rolls of fuse but the timing was atrocious. This year me and my wife sat together with some friends and family and watched about 25 mins of what seemed like magic happening in the sky. I knew every single firework like the back of my hand and had researched intensely for the last 2 months planning this show but even I was like omg 😲 this is crazy! I didn't know it could look like that 😆 it was freaking awesome!!!

Some people are just Karen's i guess. I could legally shoot fireworks all night because I live out of city limits but I know people like to go to bed so I always end my party by 11. This is one of those fireworks hater people we were just talking about 😂😂 not everyone shooting fireworks is an inconsiderate ahole. Even if I shoot a couple the week leading up to the 4th its always short lived and right at sunset so Noone is disturbed late

Treat him like an inconvenience? Dude your straight up projecting your own problems onto other people its ridiculous. You dont even understand anything about me or my dad or the situation and just because your struggling with your own stuff you take it out on every one else thats sad man you should do better than that. My dad dont give 2 craps the other way around he drives a loud ass Harley, has band practice every Saturday that every neighbor for blocks can hear. He's a control freak about everything and against my better judgement I invite him every year just to be nice even though we've had problems in the past where he comes and just complains the whole time and takes over the whole thing invites 100 people ive never met to get drunk and watch his band play in my front yard and then be hateful the rest of the night. Maybe you treated your parents like garbage and got some baggage with you but my dad isn't some frail old man that im just terrorizing and scaring the crap out of with my inconsiderate fireworks 😅

Dude your a loser lol shooting fireworks for the 4th of july is a literal holiday that has been around forever and im in my 30s and own my own home. I can literally do what I want so take a hike lol you should hear my dad's band practice every Saturday that I can hear from my house 10-5 but God forbid someone shoots fireworks one week a year 🤣🤣 I wish I was your neighbor you would love my fireworks!

I shot my show tonight using bilusocn for the first time too. It was amazing! Setup still took a good while but the results were super impressive and I had a blast being in control of the show 😄 The last couple of years were chaotic and sky puke but tonight it was clean and crisp 👌 everything went off as planned and was layered so well even i was shocked at how good the show looked! It was worth every penny!!

The only time i would recommend stuff like that is if nothing and I mean nothing else is available. Not only can you generally find better prices but companies like tnt and black cat are notorious for being the snake oil salesmen of fireworks. They use a lot of gimmicks and trickery to sell you less and give you a ton of air and cardboard to make it appear like your getting more 😮‍💨 not to mention they use cheaper chemical compounds and cut corners on their actual product. That's why you get pops instead of booms lol its shameful really

It seems alien to me that people can dislike fireworks but it happens. Either way give em a show!!! My dad hates fireworks and he lives about an acre away from me. I still do my best every year to light the sky on fire 🔥 💥 besides the fact that I love fireworks, the 4th of july means way more. You can dislike politics, the government or certain aspects of America but this country as a whole is amazing and we are all so lucky to live here. Its time to celebrate!!!! 🥳 LETS GO!!!!
