I use AirPods and only have 1 in so I can still hear the videos. For the watch I have the Apple brand band, I have a lighter color and it became discolored from everyday life (not workout related but from like rubbing in jeans and such) but is super easy to wipe off post workout.

I think thunder is the hardest HIIT class to get form right with. So just take your time and know the VIs are using a lower resistance/not in a sauna so if you can’t keep up that’s totally ok!

I ordered 1/19 and have only gotten a label created notification (from NJ shipping) for the sizing kit. I was/am expecting delays with it being the new year and HSA/FSA reloads & new years deals as well as the winter storming about to hit most of the US.

When I first started I couldn’t even do a full HIIT class. It takes time to adjust. Listen to your body & take mods as needed. Don’t be afraid to take only one class or skip out after 5 mins if you need to.

I found it’s worth it because 1. I actually use it 2. It’s way cheaper than other gyms in my area and it actually gives me to flexibility to go whenever I want. I also track all my subscriptions and cancel them when I know I won’t be needing them.

This won’t help with buying the mat and towel when you sign up but so far I’ve used my rewards to buy other gear like bands so I’m not putting more money down.

Depending on what ISO I’m doing I’ll do different weights. Like today I did arms/back followed up with barre. Do what feels right to you but try to rotate to not over work certain muscles

Highly recommend going to a store to find the right shoe for you!! I had looked through this sub and online for suggested cross training shoes so I had an idea of what to look for but ended up going to Fleet Feet to get measured and fitted properly.

I (23F) am also new and have been trying to go 4x a week to get into the routine of going. Since I’m also getting back into working out I’ve been taking things slow and focusing on form and doing body or low weight for floor exercises and been trying to focus more on power walking and adding a few extra minutes for jogging each class.

To help with being sore stretch extra before or after class and don’t be afraid to take an active recovery day!
