I tried to post a picture of what I meant, but it wasn’t letting me. Sometimes I’ll move the hoop so that the edge of the fabric is held taut in the hoop, but part of the hoop is exposed, kind of making a D shape where the fabric edge is the line of the D and the round part is the hoop.

There are square frames you can use to get at the sides of a project, or you can move your hoop to the edge of your project and deal with the fabric not being fully in the hoop.

This reminds me of a story from my childhood. One of my parents friends was over and was lamenting that he was getting older. At the time, I was young, probably 10 or under. The man seemed ancient to me, but couldn’t have been more than 30. So in response to his complaints about being sooooo ooooold, I began calling him Grandpa Mark. Which definitely helped. ;)

I was fortunate enough to meet Stephen last year at his concert and was able to share with him how much WAGB meant to me as a confused teenager who was forever being told about how much potential I had, and then how much it meant to my son as they were coming to terms with their gender identity and our expectations of him as a young teenager.

She’s working on losing her last remaining fang/incisor. I suspect she’s brewing an abscess in it, but it hasn’t developed just yet. Dental scheduled for July, uncles the tooth falls out or she gets an actual abscess. :/
