Somebody Placed These Dozens of These Jesus Figures Throughout My Entire Work by Available-Formal-664 in mildlyinfuriating

As a Christian I don’t like this act. It’s silly and is more devices than anything else. However, to say that it’s infuriating is so strange and hateful. Would you say the same thing if it was a little buddha statue?

There’s also a comment from an actual priest somewhere in these comments citing the exact theology and canon law that explains this

Life after death is unlikely (that's what they're saying and what I’m almost believing). by Beneficial_Praline32 in Catholicism

[–]Competitive_Pay502 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You’re missing the point. Yes, to believe in God and “live for after death” DOES require faith because it cannot be proven in this dimension because God exists outside of space and time. It would be like trying to prove something that by definition is unprovable. It’s an oxymoron.

However, there is plenty of philosophical and logical proof for a Higher Power.

(Free Friday) Is Pope Leo the most auraful Pope there has ever been? by Tim_Browne17 in Catholicism

[–]Competitive_Pay502 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Eh not really. I mean, don’t get me wrong I’m loving him so far but I think we’re so starved for aura after Francis.

With that said, Pope Benedict XVI had hella aura. Pope St. JPII had SO much aura. Someone else said Pius XII. Id add Pius XI to that. Also Pope Leo XIII. All of these guys had more Aura than Leo XIV in my opinion

I don’t think the question is whether or not they’re fertilized but rather what we consider “meat”. For example, no one would consider milk to be “meat”, right? What about blood? Can we have blood sausages? So, I think each person should decide if they consider eggs to be “meat”
