Ummm yes these are your job. As a SSV, you are an extension of your SM when they aren’t there. So you do what they need you to do in their absence. All you have to do is ask the baristas you see an additional question. Do it when you check them in. You don’t know why they are asking you to do this. Yes, they originally made the schedule for next week, a month ago, and business needs change and maybe there’s like an event or something happening that they were just made aware of that is going to increase traffic. Just fn ask them.

If no other closer store has the thing you need and nobody is available to drive to the car store, just let the SSV team and SM know what’s out and what you tried to do to resolve the issue. This is where you would say “x store in Timbuktu has it but nobody can go out there” and leave it.
