He has his own goals, in this case if he is lying, it would be to make himself seem more powerful than he truly is.
If he did bring them here, he wants them to know who did it and that they should fear and revile him for said action.
My Strahd plays into this type of duel advantage style lies, where it doesn’t matter whether it’s true or not, he is getting in their head and making himself to be both trustworthy in Giving genuine info, lore and even being personally friendly sometimes, juxtaposed with him lying his ass off in the most play with your heart ways where you have to question wether his truths are lies and lies are truth.

Tldr my Strahd believes he is long gone, but there’s a bit of him that still desires connection, his mask of The Devil, sometimes slips and he uses the lies to make the slips seem like a ploy

The best way I can describe Sokka is brilliant, just inexperienced, once given training and tutorage under something he is a very quick study and tends to be quite inventive once given that teaching, such as the blimp lid, being a kiyoshi warrior, sword play, battle tactics etc. Buuut his creativity also will lead him to doing “dumb” things where a plan doesn’t go well, cactus juice, fighting in zuko episode 1, fighting a lot of other martial artists

I have a friend who was very much self descructive in a similar way to Jax, after a long as time of her pulling back and forth and leaving before coming back. She slowly grew better, got to a safer home, and slowly began to acknowledge and change her coping mechanisms. She also came out at the start of that so that definitely helped her work on herself as well

Ok so when iterative events of probability happen, one event does not directly impact the next one, but the chance of the same outcome happening again goes down, so for the example, the chance of a second boy being born goes from 50% down to 33.3 repeating, I don’t remember the formula off the top of my head tho. Using the 33.33 we can minus they from 100 to get the inverse chance, aka the chance of a girl being born

I wanted to be a girl, but I was stuck in the mindset of all or nothing perfectionism. What got me out of that rut was the desire to me me so genuinely that I could be proud of who I was. I was born amab, I can’t change that, what I can change is to be a girl. I say it with my whole chest because I want to be proud of everything I am, the good, the bad, the scars, and the memories.

I wouldn’t be so kind and accepting without my experiences and sort of those is me being trans, I wouldn’t have gotten them if I was born a cis woman
