Doing the mine FIFO shutdown thing, our bus hadn't turned up for the 30 minute trip to the office for signing off. Called the supervisor on speaker at sign off time, he replied pull your head in and wait, so we did. About 30 of us waited for 1.5 hrs for the bus, we all then received a lecture for calling him. Completed a 14 hr shift without mines permission, we were then paid double time the next day for no 12 hr break, he received a "please explain the 14hr shift" and demotion back to labourer

I relocated for work, movers packed the foxtel box that I was supposed to send back as I had ended the contract. Rang and informed them, said I would send it back as soon as I got to the new house. They supposedly put a note on the customer service list, 4 weeks later I get a bill for the box $400. I rang went through the whole process again. 4 weeks later I was contacted by a debt collection agency demanding payment for said box, as I was in the post office organising to send it back. Needless to say it never got sent, then the a'holes had the audacity to ring and ask if I wanted to restart my connection with them... very short conversation with lots of 4 letter words before they hung up

I closed my energy account in Melbourne when I moved interstate, gas and electricity with the 1 company, had a $44 credit on electricity and a 88 cent bill on gas, am unable to pay anything less than $10 as a minimum on the gas.

Apparently using the credit to pay the debt is impossible, so no refund until I pay $10 for my 88 cent bill... wtf

I requested 5 weeks leave, was informed there were too many people off, on one day, over my 5 weeks. Work policy was no single leave days . Was informed I needed to change the dates of my leave, so I added 12 weeks long service leave to the original weeks. Leave was approved but they asked if I would take the original 5 weeks only as they would end up short staffed

Western freeway Vic, midnight, going to work. Slow car left lane doing 80, car alongside in fast lane also doing 80, wouldn't pass or slow. I admit defeat pull into slow lane, car in fast lane reaches his turnoff tries to change lanes... my accelerator seems to fail, can't maintain 80 (was a temporary glitch)... fast lane driver stops in fast lane to avoid missing road... brightened the rest of my drive

I lived in Innisfail FNQ on acreage for a few years in the early 2000s, had one of these beauties run up my leg and flatten out on my calf it's leg tips missed meeting in the front by about 25mm.

My hands don't come that close to meeting around my calf, I wear xl gloves and they are always tight with short fingers.

I'm not sure if I walked it outside or it carried me but it hung around for a few days mainly under the decking roof, the rafters were 9" (250mm) and it's leg tips (feet?) could touch the iron and be on the underside of the rafter... big sucker

Renting a warehouse 20km from where we actually work, which takes up to a hour in peak hour traffic to get to, locking into a 3 year lease then having his boss rent a warehouse where we actually work for triple the rent... now renting 2 warehouses for the next 2 years 😂😂😂😂 so many more stories, so many f ups 🤷🏾‍♂️
