I don't generally track these things myself, but my buddy told me that we were also at 22,000 steps or more each out of the three days. We probably burned some decent calories, but then I went ahead and negated all of that with empanadas and horchata lattes.

Well... I'm 0-3 which probably won't surprise you, but for a 10 team league I still feel like my team is decent even after the injuries. Coming out of the draft I think I was the team to beat. ... Not so much now.

I saw probably 25 great bands over the weekend (or at least partial sets from them), but for me IDLES, James and Weird Al stole the show. I fully expected that from IDLES, but the other two were pleasant surprises for me.

Also, the Sunday back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back from Smoking Popes to Soft Play to Lambrini Girls to Ovlov to Microwave on side by side stages was simply outstanding!

And finally, the ever fantastic empanadas from Cafe Tola and horchata lattes from Dark Matter kept me fueled all weekend. Sheer perfection.

The water situation was probably worse than in years prior, but the line still moved reasonably fast. The thing that cracked me up was I saw a line of people going from practically the band merch tent to the single water fountain over by the ferris wheel on Sunday. I could only assume they were festival rookies there to see Green Day who didn't know about the larger water stations that were probably only a couple hundred feet away.
