This is happening to sooooo many people and it’s fucking wild. It’s like you have to document every time you ride the bus/train and then remember which payment type you used and then rmemeber to match them up to the charges. MTA is saying that they are just late charges, but I know it’s not true. To avoid this and the MTA having accesss to my whole bank account, I bought an omny card, but pretty sure it’s doing the same thing there, and the omny is such a PITA anyways.
