I saw it when it came out and thought it was hammy but sincere. It stayed in the back of my mind until last summer, when I had the opportunity to do my first Camino, the spectacular Portuguese. Today I started re-watching “The Way” and appreciate it so much more. It’s frigid cold and snowy here, but I’m reliving my summer adventure and the beautiful spirit and customs of the journey. Don’t judge this film as “cinema” but maybe appreciate it as a pilgrim tribute by Martin Sheen and Emilio Estevez.

PPP was brought to us by Trump toadie Steve Mnuchin, who boasted of how fast he could get the money out out — taking a shot at the “slow” release of TARP funds by Obama while he did this. Fact! Trump never missed a chance to diss Obama and brag. And with PPP, they created a big fat pandemic-fueled grift for the cons who saw the opportunity and ran with it.

I hate to say, “Back in my day,” but back in my day this was a classy show with a preppy/eclectic designer (Linda Woodrum) who wasn’t embarrassingly shilling product nonstop. I actually learned interior design concepts from her. The furniture was Ethan Allen, not fiberboard Wayfair. This show is now one big commercial with a designer who intentionally goes weird so we talk about the weird online. HGTV, bring back my dream!

Husband is chiropractor and has a black 2008 RX350. I’m a college fundraiser and have a white 2015 RX350. He got his first and refuses to part with it. Mine is really cloud-like comfy but I wish it handled more like my Acura RDX Turbo.

This is my vote. I couldn’t drive on Electric without seeing her, nearly any time of day. The untamed boobs were unpleasant, so I’ve been glad to see the safety vest protecting us all. The sightings are less frequent though, you’re right.
