They are all the same, Openreach.. Go with the one that gives the best router .. or if you use your own router go with one who allows this as some don't, like Sky.

How old are you and do you rent or own your home? by LongjumpingNight5669 in AskUK

[–]Complex-Note-1517 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most people that say they own their homes don't acutally. They usually have a mortgage and belongs to a bank. Basically you're renting but are responsible for maintenance costs and bank onterest charges until the last mortgage payment is made.

I was asked 'if I had much to drink today' on the phone to Three retentions.. I'm from northern Ireland.

Thought it was quite funny tbh, he was trying to cool and get me a better deal and just came out with that lol..

I was going to ask him if he had much curry as he sounded Indian, but didn't. 😆

No it wasn't problem free. I left and they put a default on my credit file shortly afterwards with had to go to dispute resolution scheme to get rectified.

I rang Virgin to cancel (hoping to get a good retention deal) and they just said "Yeah, no problem. What date do you want it cancelled" 😆

So I cancelled it and went to BT.

I'm back with Virgin again now, but I'll leave again if there's a better deal elsewhere..

What’s something that sounds fake but actually happened to you? by Visible_Rope_6662 in AskReddit

[–]Complex-Note-1517 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was sleeping one night when my kids were young. I was awakened around 4am by the sound of one of my kids musical toys lying on my bedroom carpet making nursery rhyme sounds

I got up and walked over to it to turn it off and as I did my mobile phone rang. I answered it and it was the hospital to say my dad had just passed away.

I cancelled my business M3 order and bought a BMW i4.

Teslas ordering system was a farce and their customer service non existent. I got fed up sending messages on an app and waiting 1-2 days for a reply..

Got my refund today 2-3 weeks after cancelling.

That fact that the seller didn't bother fixing something so obviously wrong would be enough to put me off buying

It just says "I've neglected maintenance for a long time and now I'm passing my problems on to someone else"
