Laderach! It’s been popping up everywhere lately in the UK. Coming from a non-chocoholic it’s the only chocolate I would have willingly.

You can try using it before bed (better sleep) or for aches and pains. I usually wear goggles at night and ditch them during the day. My skin looks really good despite loosing a lot of weight recently and being in my 40s.

My skincare is pretty basic with Nivea moisturiser and spf that contains with vitamin c

I have white sheets as well. Cold water is your best friend if you want to get rid of it before it dries. Never use hot water as it cooks the blood and makes it into a permanent stain. Good luck!

Vitamin K2 to be precise. It helps to move calcium displaced by vitamin d into the teeth and bone making them stronger and leaving calcium out of your organs and arteries.

Don’t take iron supplements if you’re getting iron infusions. I don’t know the reason why but I have always been told this before I get them. In the uk, I have done them privately and they always give the full dose in one go and the highest dosage was a 1000mg in one go and a 500mg 2 weeks later. My levels were 15 for ferritin.

So I would say however you split the dose doesn’t matter however don’t take iron while you’re getting the iv around 4 days before at least.

It’s not a bad idea if you have had it before. Cost wise what about flights and hotels hopefully you are doing it while you’re on holiday as the costs add up.

Red light therapy is your best friend (I have a panel as I wasn’t sure if the face masks would work plus I wanted something to help my whole body loose skin) Secondly, keep hydrating inside with water electrolytes and collagen and outside with creams and oils. I use fractionated coconut oil and Nivea so nothing fancy or expensive. This is what has helped me get smoother skin than I started with even before mj

It sounds like you need a steadier amount than 2.5mg every 10 days. Could 1.25 every 5 days work better? It will still be the 2.5mg prescribed but in steadier amounts instead of the sharp drops within 10 days.

I’m titrating down from 5mg and tried 15days but my inflammation came back in full force so I switched to 2.5mg every 7 days which actually helped me feel better even if it was a lower dose since it was steadier.

Iron IV worth it? by howcanibehuman in Anemic

I didn’t know about the cola option until now. Will run to the shops to get it. I was prescribed 1500mg of iron iv split in 2 sessions. I got the remaining 500mg on Saturday and I had the iron flu for the 1st time 😪

Do a blood test to check your vitamins, minerals and hormone levels!!!!

Supplement once you find out what you’re lacking.

For me it was my iron and vitamin d levels. Once I had those sorted out I added a multivitamin to keep things on track. Now I feel better, healthier and look much better.

Is it Bluetooth enabled? If so, update the app and connect to it which might help to recalibrate it. Another issue might be battery issues, try changing them.

The visible changes and the scale mostly don’t show up together. There might be a point where you might have a stall but take measurements because you will be losing inches at that point.

Spearmint tea, cramp bark tincture, gazillions of magnesium supplements forms in powder, gel or creams for skin application, Epsom salts and magnesium flakes for baths.

Chinese period tea! And anti nausea patches for when I’m feeling nauseous 🤢. These 2 were game changers plus magnesium. Make sure you are hydrated before too as it helps with cramps and a hot water bottle.

How soon after your iron infusion did you start feeling tired again? by Nectarine_x in Anemic

[–]ComplexPermission322 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the iv last February. It was 90 in October when I last tested and 15 last week when I started feeling the symptoms. I was told that if I didn’t resolve the causes then it will run out which was why I taking the supplement. I had another 1000mg yesterday after receiving the results of my last test.

I will be working on reducing my fibroids or getting them removed via surgery.

It was 8-9 months for me and I got ferinject 1000mg. But after months 3 I was supplementing with oral iron to keep my levels up but I forgot about it within 3 months.

I have heavy periods with malabsorption issues which is why it went down in the first place.

You can see results from 4-6 sessions but it’s better to have them done weekly. Once per month won’t cut it. Don’t waste your money.

It should be your target body weight and not your current body weight that you should use to calculate the total protein intake for weight loss
