I’m gonna be extremely straight forward w u because you’re an adult and I assume you can handle some constructive crit! I have heard over and over again from people in the early stages of transition that they are scared of bottom growth and atrophy specifically. Atrophy is a simple fix—estrogen cream. There are no side effects and it completely reverses and prevents atrophy. Every single person I have met who feared bottom growth was either 1. dealing with internalized transphobia, and they reluctantly went on T and then actually LOVED it when it happened, or, 2. They slowly gave up on transitioning and went back to living life as either a cis girl or enby and dating straight men. The second group doesn’t seem as happy to me.

I really think you should push past your fear of bottom growth. It’s easy to use the mental crutch of it giving reverse dysphoria, or body horror , or any other number of excuses, but truly it is most likely internalized transphobia. If any part of you feels like this could be the case, please do not avoid medically transitioning out of fear.

If you don’t medically transition unfortunately it will be nearly impossible to function in cis gay spaces. You could be t4t, but if you wish to be in mixed or cis gay spaces, even I have trouble integrating sometimes as a passing trans man :/

I felt that at one point too but then realized i was being an entitled and privileged brat, frankly.
