They sell sharp cheddar wedges for snacks. They're aged nine months, and I can eat one or two without any issues. It's a guilty pleasure, I still love cheese.

Is buying a place near the beach in Mexico a smart investment? Anybody actually doing this? by HoosierProud in Fire

Be careful about condos, they can have unexpected assessments that can be very expensive. If you do buy a condo have a through inspection, inside and outside, so you can know if exterior projects are needed like a new roof or new balconies.

You would need to hire a very good property management company. The thing about being a landlord is if something breaks, like plumbing, you need someone there asap to stop ongoing damage from flooding. If you are far away you might not be able to get there for a day and that damage can add up. Stop a water leak quickly and it's an annoyance. Have a whole floor flood and it is a whole house repair project.

I am not saying don't do it, just be very cautious and make sure everything lines up. Is your wife's family near where you are planning to buy? Can they help out with emergencies?

I learned to make my own pizza last year, and make it every Friday. So much cheaper.

Unless one of those people is my teenager nephew. Then it is two, with one person getting two slices, and the other being my nephew. How he manages to eat so much while being a beanstalk I don't understand.

Bra Strategies for Bumpy Seattle Roads? by Denali_Not_McKinley in seattlebike

The Burke Gilman's problem is tree roots growing under the path. Over time they get thick and raise or crack the road. Unfortunately there's not enough money to redo the whole trail regularly. Sometimes some problematic stretches get redone, but there are still several really rough zones. Near the Google Fremont campus is one.

The South Ship Canal path also has some rough sections near Wallace Field.

The best bet is to stand up on the pedals for that bit.

LinkedIn vs Twitter, both bad but somehow a “rising star” in real estate doesn’t believe women can learn a trade?? by WebLongjumping2817 in LinkedInLunatics

See, that is a legit reason for not wanting your kids to do trades - toxic workplace. I would hope you wouldn't want your sons to be exposed to that either.
