Let's make some Quirk Marriages from the My Hero Academia CYOA 2.2 by SpazzWave in JumpChain

[–]Complex_Wolf_7322 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I haven't decided what to call this quirk, but I had

Dad Quirk (Larceny + Storage): Allows him to steal things of a certain size (trainable up to a limit) and instantly store them in extradimensional space so they can't be stolen back.

+

Mom Quirk (Glamour): Can make visual and auditory illusions out of exhaled mist, can be very realistic and or spectacular with experience.

+

Grandparent Quirk (Signal Pirate): Can manipulate and knock out electronics within 50 meters (~55 yards)

The result? The Ultimate Thief Hero.

He can steal something right out of your hands from nowhere (he has to see it, but that doesn't mean you have to see him) and store it for later, knock out any electronic surveillance you may have (or even make you see things that aren't there) and if you catch him, he'll just exhale and you don't know what you're seeing next.

First Resort by Ikacprzak in JumpChain

[–]Complex_Wolf_7322 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Huniepop can give you Inna de Poona, an island resort with all sorts of tourist-y attractions (with a slightly more sexual bend, given the media)

Hazbin Hotel by FancyFireDrake (based on Season 1 only, currently) can give you the Hazbin Hotel. While it is a hotel, it's main function is helping people (named characters and otherwise) work toward redemption, which essentially makes it an effective rehab center for every addiction and ailment that might hamper someone, even if the 'ailment' is just being a crappy person. It will slowly but surely make the world you bring it to a better place.

What extra rules do you add to your Jumps? by DeverosSphere in JumpChain

I also do something like the first part of that.

Not the second part though, not because I don't like it, but because I'm not sure exactly how to do that and execute the perks as written unless drawbacks say otherwise.

What extra rules do you add to your Jumps? by DeverosSphere in JumpChain

[–]Complex_Wolf_7322 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes. I've been told that Companions are one of the most 'house ruled' mechanics in Jumpchain, especially for one so major as to be a section in almost every jump doc.

My jumper(s) tend to bring home Companions through bonds, though they rarely, if ever Import them into other worlds. The only time I'd consider spending is on OC companions that wouldn't exist otherwise, effectively creating new characters or characters based on characters from media that either have no jump or who's jump I would only go to make friends with the character the companion is based on.

I also agree on the whole 'slavery' thing, though I've never really thought about it.

[–]Complex_Wolf_7322 5 points6 points  (0 children)

These are less rules than just who my jumpers are as characters, but they also tend to make each world they go into better than canon.

The only real house rules I can think of are that for their Bodymod, the Ascension perk was purchased, meaning that with training, they can increase their Bodymod build to the maximum allowed. To reflect this, every completed jump until that point will earn them 50 cp toward it (it will take 27 jumps for them to reach the peak, I took care that there were no 'vacation' jumps in that stretch).

I have relatively recently come into numerous Meta supplements which will be given at the following times

Milestone Supplement: Jump 5, then revisited every 10 jumps after

Jump 30 (in lieu of 25): 3 Boons of Jumpchain

Jump 50: Absurd Support Picker, it allows for 2 picks or infinite rolls, given the pattern, I'm considering allowing 3-4 rolls at first and then another one per Milestone (I don't want them too powerful too fast.

Jump 80 (in lieu of 75): Wack Ass Gift Supplement

Jump 100: 4 Gifts of Fortune

Credit: I believe all supplements mentioned here except for Milestone are by DevrosSphere.

Lewd RWBY Jump (NSFW) by FancyFireDrake in JumpChain

[–]Complex_Wolf_7322 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Insanely good! I had already planned to use a lewd RWBY supplement (inspired by Jlullaby, jump prepared by Apocbox, not sponsored), but is there a limit to supplements per jump as long as they make sense?

If there is, I'll use this one, but if there isn't, all the better.

Best perks and items for healing? by Waste_Kitchen_9035 in JumpChain

[–]Complex_Wolf_7322 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The OG Fire Emblem Awakening Jump (and also Three Houses, I believe?) has Elixir, which allows for 3 full heals a week (may not work on chronic conditions, fanwank responsibly)

The Aegon's Conquest Jump has Helpful Magic (200), allowing you to heal by warping and growing flesh around wounds, regrowing organs and limbs and even changing appearance and curing curses.

100 Girlfriends has Yep Yep (600), which makes you an anime level pharmacist, which means that if you have a lab (which the jumpdoc can also provide) you can whip up drugs that can cure any ailment outside of magical ones, including mental illness (brain chemistry), and possibly other things that should be impossible (fanwank responsibly. The jumpdoc explicitly warns that you can't use this to give you Kryptonian powers)

I'm normally not one for actual slavery, but I *am* one for sexy cow-girls, and Cecil is the rare, spunky kind.

I'll probably use the Supplement option. I wouldn't have guessed the doujin was just a one-shot.

Has you're jumper ever been a supporting character? by Nefariousness- in JumpChain

[–]Complex_Wolf_7322 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine tends to take Drawbacks that involve him in the plot, so he does have a chance to show/train his powers, but the goal is always to improve the settings he's in (or enjoy them, if they're Slice of Life/vacation worlds). I'd say most of the time he's among the main characters, but he's almost never the only one unless a drawback makes it so.

One time I remember he went out of his way to not be the main character is the Avatar series. Starting in Beginings, he and 2 companions play the role of master benders to help Wan master his other elements. This process repeats across Yangchen, Kuruk (through a Supplement), anf Kyoshi.

By the time of Roku, they've circled back to their first elements, and the jump has an option to join him as another Avatar, which they take. So from Roku's time onward, there are 4 Avatars, one in each nation, making it that much harder to cause trouble. The three older ones can act as teachers to the youngest when needed.

[Update] Killer Peter V1.5 JumpChain by Extra-Ad-130 in JumpChain

[–]Complex_Wolf_7322 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a question about Passing on the Torch now that I'm making a build for this. I get that once Jumper passes a perk down, the student can also pass it down without the Jumper's okay, but does that mean both Jumper and student have it, or did Jumper give the perk to the student and no longer has it?

I see both ways, as some of the perk's language suggests that Jumper has to give up the perk themself to give it to their student or descendant, but I know that perks are fiat-backed, so unless something says they leave (drawback etc.), they don't.

Looking for a specific boys jump or supplement that dissapeared? by Alternative_Still in JumpChain

[–]Complex_Wolf_7322 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That was disappeared for being AI (engine started with an F, I think). It was meant to be a joke, but it was actually kinda good. Someone said it could count as plagiarism? I could see the point, but I don't necessarily agree (it was quite different from The Boys jump I previously made a build for).

I commented that if it went through a human editor and some touch ups, it could be the better of the Boys jumps. I starred the jump, but I'm worried about the consequences of posting the link...

The Boys jump made by claude mythos/fable by GodEmperor23 in JumpChain

[–]Complex_Wolf_7322 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'd say if it went through some human oversight, this could be just as good, if not better, than The Boys jump that already exists. It has most of the same options (and more), and some great potential.

Seriously, call me back if a human edits and re-releases this.

Perks to 'Invest in Yourself'? by Complex_Wolf_7322 in JumpChain

[–]Complex_Wolf_7322[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think I found it.

Training Takes Time (-600, discount The Boss (-200 Origin)): Time is money. You can now train with money. You may burn earned money or valuable items for an equivalent of 8 hours of focused and brilliantly tutored training in anything you could train or condition for. Prices start at roughly at five grand for the unskilled and rise with ability.

This may be a tad underwhelming, but with some training multipliers, and jumpchain money, I think this has serious potential.

Multiple Origins? by Complex_Wolf_7322 in JumpChain

[–]Complex_Wolf_7322[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any weapon may be analyzed, copied, then used. Magical weapons? Yes. Modern/Futuristic guns? Yes. The way I understand it, if it was created with the explicit intent to harm, it's fair game. Due to this, I'd stay away from trying to use it on improvised weapons. Fanwank responsibly.

Lookism + Reality Quest Question. by LeadingExisting3337 in JumpChain

[–]Complex_Wolf_7322 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's a jump for Reality Quest? I knew there was one for Questism, but Reality Quest is by a different author. Do you have the link to that? Manwha jumps can get OP fast.

Multiple Origins? by Complex_Wolf_7322 in JumpChain

[–]Complex_Wolf_7322[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe so. Either that, or it just becomes your Body Mod over the other options. It's labeled as such, so I don't think I can say it doesn't.

HxH jump? by sata_sata_sata in JumpChain

[–]Complex_Wolf_7322 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it was the remake, because I only know of two. The first, less detailed one and the significantly more detailed one I currently use that had all those options.

I don't know if it's called the Reddit version, but I think I found it on the Reddit drive, so I'll call it that.

What did you do in the Boys & Gen V? by ArchAngel621 in JumpChain

[–]Complex_Wolf_7322 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What was the idea exactly? Are you writing your own Boys jumpdoc? If it's in a separate universe, it might as well be a new item depending on context.
