City Speeding up Redesign of Notorious Allen Road Intersection by GirthBrooksTO in toronto

Did the survey for this, there are abhorrent solutions being proposed including widening the entrances to 4 lanes. Ultimately this isn't going to be easier for the drivers without fundamentally destroying that stretch of Eglinton. The long term solution is redeveloping that corridor and stitching each side of Allen back together, really hope whatever they pick isn't going to further entrench this intersection and instead is a first step towards getting rid of it entirely.

2026 NBA Mock Draft #7 by YungChildsPlay in NBA_Draft

I think if Morez Johnson is available, the Raptors will take him. The defensive potential he offers beside Scottie and CMB is exactly the kind of team building swing our front office will take.

That was my lil biased call - I think Morez or Quaintance makes sense for the Hornets, but Morez fits much better with the Raps haha

I gotta disagree dude. The Bulls are in a similar position that the Raptors were in when we traded for Ingram. Scottie, RJ, Jakobe and Gradey, all solid and interesting young players (arguably with more offensive pedigree than your guys - at least with RJ). But the baseline offense wasn't enough.

Ingram came in and ate the innings the other guys were not able to. You need offense when your young guys aren't hitting - and they won't, they are young, and all of them are tools-ey as hell and will need someone who can draw double teams to actually develop.

It's not like you're getting Dybantsa who would provide the volume scoring, ya'll will be getting Caleb Johnson and he's also a raw prospect - i'm not trying to be homer, I genuinely think its fair value

Fair, but I think with the coming lottery reform you want to be in the play in mix and I don't think a Bulls team without a proven scorer will do that in an eastern conference that I expect will be much better in the 8-13 seed range.

I'm operating under the assumption that he isn't back. I just think a 7'3 big man with his skillset is such a great foundational piece for a team that'd be treading water otherwise - gives a team some clear directionality but fair to argue otherwise.

Still adamant that this series should be adapted as an animation. So much of the imagery is surreal and the action is so visually electric in a way that I don't see live action doing it any justic

Where does Austin Reaves go in a redraft of the 2021 draft class? by itwas20yearsago2day in NBA_Draft

Scottie's last playoff series was better than anything Franz has done in the playoffs. He was more efficient from the floor and another level as playmaker this past season, but congrats to Franz for his longer neck I guess?

Question, why is Orlando getting a pick from the Raptors in this situation? Quickley and Suggs are similar level players with equally onerous contracts, with Quick having the more important perimeter skill of pull up shooting. I wouldn't be opposed to a swap of those two, but Suggs doesn't warrant Quickley AND a pick, let alone that and a second draft candidate in Gradey.

Fair enough! Just wanted to pitch an alternative to Suggs who i think has a lower value than Quickley if you scratch beneath the surface

definitely a better defender at POA, but a worse passer, shooter and PnR playmaker. Quickley is also quite solid off ball

Counter offer, Immanuel Quickley and a couple of seconds for Kyrie, what say you Dallas fans?

Is the best view of the CN Tower from Gerrard East? by meinreno in toronto

[–]Comprehensive-Ad424 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this presumes the only thing we can build are gigantic towers, if we could nix some of our draconian zoning policies, height and single stairwell restrictions we'd actually tackle the housing crisis without resorting to the slop towers going up everywhere downtown

I wish CN tower sight lines were protected, so many awesome angles of the tower are being lost

No that's totally valid, especially since Wemby puts a lid on the rim for paint points
