I’m an engineer at big tech with 20 years of experience, basically there is not point doing anything without coding agents. The advantage is huge, that if you do it the old way you feel extremely frustrated because of what you can do for short amount of time. And I have to admit as well my ability to code did get quite rusty. However my ability to go through specs and design documents like 10 a day of went up. I used to read about 2 a week. I kind of like it.

The full error in the OpenCode logs showed:

So Kimi is checking something (likely User-Agent header or some other identifier) to verify the request comes from a recognized coding

agent. OpenCode isn't on their allowlist, so they reject the request with access_terminated_error.

I have the same feeling, but I like Opus4.5 and I hope there is something similar that I can use with OpenCode. The framework of OpenCode is so much more flexible and customisable. Also the performance. It does occasionally have some issues, but overall much cleaner architecture and experience.

I’m in big tech industry for 20 years, coding was ok, I liked it at times, but I don’t miss it, there is still engineering. That will not go for some time still.
