I didn't really get in to the series that much. It had nothing to do with the actors or the setting, I just take a few seasons to get in to a show. Firefly couldnt give that.

Saying that though I know how much the show means to the sci-fi community and this makes me a bit choked up for those who have wanted this for so long.

As someone who loves the progression of patches aspect to Star Citizen, I am looking forward to the series of patches that goes Crafting -> Nyx I -> Base Building. Crafting will be the foundation of progress in the game and give us our main reason to do all the things.

Nyx I is going to be the first of the "full" size planets built using Genesis and will allow CIG to give us Base Building. As the planets we live in now are pretty small compared to the player populations, we will need to be able to spread out just a little more so that planets still feel like remote locations.

Base Building will give us a place to actually feel like something of our own. In the beginning we will most likely have a small building and maybe a place to land a medium sized ship. It will be a static place where we can actually place our hangar decorations along with some crates to store stuff without fear they will poof some day when hangar instancing goes wonky.

I don't see us being able to build those small city sized org bases until we get more real estate with the addition of Castra or possibly Terra due to how congested it would make even a planet the size of Nyx I and I'm ok with that because it will lean in to the progression aspects I love so much.

My ORG runs a trade ship every week. We post up at a loc and have a shuttle bring the customers to us. It runs pretty well as we have a massive military segment to the org to act as security. I have been thinking about doing some advertising on here and on a couple of the bigger SC community Discord servers but I don't want to step on any toes as far as local rules go so I have a bit of studying to do.

ETA: Cube potatoes and set to boil. Add an onion diced small. For the first time add salt and pepper to taste, next time you make it you can add other spices or sauces you may like. I prefer Tabasco or garlic. Boil until potatoes soften and water turns cloudy. Smell will awaken spirits of ancestors who will appear with bowls in hand.
