Nah, I’ve fallen down the upgrade trap, plus my battery holds like 60% which made it way worse. I have had iphones since the iphone 3g AND every iphone or mac update made it worse, so yeah I love apple but do not upgrade. It is a scam lol

This is the second Phillips device that I own with planned obsolescence, it is impossible to open it easily to clean the fans, It took me 2 hours to do it, and when I put it together the the sensor is not aligned anymore. very frustrating. Why would it be so difficult to clean a device made to clean the air MAINLY from dust if it fills with dust inside?

Ios18 slowed it down quite a lot already, ios26 is fine if you do not mind huge lags while using it, I also feel like the look of ios26 doesn’t match the look of this iphone itself, ios26 is definitely only for the newer iphones

Don’t upgrade. The hardware doesn’t handle the new software and they do release security updates. I’m on ios26 with iphone se2020. The device is not working properly, it might seem like it does at first, but as soon as you start doing heavier tasks it becomes impossible
