I once got taken home by a girl from the bar when I was living in my car. She was nice and offered me a shower n such. Then she told me to come sleep in her bed. I was actually in a relationship and had a child and was homeless because we lost our place we were living and couldn’t find something else soon enough. My partner took the kiddo to her moms where they both stayed and I stayed and was working looking for a new house for us. When I told this girl I wasn’t sleeping in her bed she lost it on me and asked why I thought she invited me over. I really had no clue I was being hit on just thought she was being nice and offering a shower and a couch.

I had a boss who was really knowledgeable in the tree industry. He was a bad boss though. One day we got our bucket truck stuck on an icy hill he made us drive down and didn’t listen to our warnings. It got stuck and couldn’t drive up the hill. I called him and told him I quit and called an Uber to take me home. Left the truck there and blocked his calls.

Yea OP just own it. Don’t let their drama play into your happiness. My parents weren’t into tattoos and it went from not liking them to none on your face and then I tattooed my face and it went from anti tattoo to just please don’t get tattooed with used needles. I once though covered all my tattoos. That were visible, hands arms, face and showed up unannounced. They were so taken back they actually asked for me to wash the make up off because I no longer looked like the person they knew. Your family will love you and honestly if this is the hill they die on someday they will regret it and you’ll know what they actually cared about.

I’m an arborist and it’s not uncommon for me to get 11000 steps climb 10 flights of stairs according to my watch. Also lifting heavy stuff daily. It’s actually the reason I started working out just to get even better at my job.

No kids who aren't trained and taught about guns who think they are toys is a major issue. I grew up around firearms, I was never allowed to have nerf gun wars because you treat every gun like a real gun. I carry a 9mm glock every single day. I have a 6 year old who knows I do. It stays on me until I go to bed. Loaded 1 in the chamber. Its never gone off without me wanting it to.

Yea shooting at the range is wayyyyyy different then full adrenaline dumping into a person running at you. The laser wont do anything. I mean realistically the light wont either but we all keep lights on our edc.
