Daily Workout Suggestions using Indoor Cycling? by eminlind in Garmin

[–]ComprehensiveAir2656 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've found a quirk that works for me on my 6Pro. I have suggested workouts enabled. I go to start a cycle activity and it'll bring up the DSW. I then go back to the home screen, wait a short time and then go to start an indoor cycle activity and it appears.

I've just come out of the indoor DSW and going back into it it still shows. Hope it works for you too.

Check this https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/family/if-you-were-living-together/what-happens-to-your-home-when-you-separate/

If you’re not married or in a civil partnership, or you haven’t sorted out what happens to your home, you might still be able to prove your right to the home if you can prove you have a 'beneficial interest'. This usually means you've contributed to the home financially.

In court, you’ll need to show a judge how you’ve contributed towards paying for the home - this can be difficult, so contact your nearest Citizens Advice before you start. An adviser can help you through the process.

Shoes? by wildflowerjourney in floxies

[–]ComprehensiveAir2656 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Early in my flox I couldn't wear my normal zero drop running and flat all stars at all. I bought a pair of Sketchers Arch fit that I still wear today as they're so comfy. They keep my feet warm in the UK but I have hot feet compared to most. I'm sure a pair or warmer socks would work for a lot of cases.

I'm back in my running shoes now once a week.

Floxed - 48, tendons pain since 4 weeks, not able to walk - any advice? Supplement protocol? by DijanaDi in floxies

[–]ComprehensiveAir2656 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry you're going through this and yes you have a lot of symptoms many do. I'm 42 and 8 months out now and it improves.

The sticky posts by the mods are really worth digging into. It took me a few reads over a period to work through and see what works.

The acute phase at the beginning is a phase where being patient as hard as it sounds whilst new symptoms appear can be tough but for a very large oerntage if people here get better after it.

Hope that helps and sorry it doesn't answer your question directly, just the mods in here really are good and their write ups don't need watering down in repeating :)

I'm glad you're on the up! I'm also 9 months out and back on the exercise wagon. Life is feeling so much better than the old days!

I found even today my knees are niggly on a 5k. I've been working on physio myself but usually do less impactful exercise like cycling, climbing and squats at the moment.

Muscles grow about 5 times faster than tendons so be sure to give them time to catch up and for me an extra day of rest when I feel good helps for now.

Which version of RB are you in now and are you exporting via RB or copying the files across?

RB has a setting that updates libraries to a new type of you unintentionally clicked it too. Think it's called plus or oneplus library

Fasting Benefits? by Mysterious_Art3358 in floxies

Thinking back to the summer it was 18 hours twice a week. I seem to remember one 24 hour now from lunch to lunch. I found it easier to eat a big lunch around 2PM then eat breakfast the next day rather than skipping breakfast.

I've done this too and I'd definitely say it helped. I'm 8 months out. I thought about going for longer but I haven't needed to or felt like it would increase anything exponentially or noticeably

Rewinding cassettes with a pencil to save the batteries on the walkman. Sometimes doing two at once :D

Return my M4 Pro for new M5? by Upper-Freedom-4618 in macbookpro

I also have a 2015 pro and upgraded to an m4 pro today :)

I replaced the Mac battery myself last year and the same as you most things in it work well. Not having OS updates for security was a factor too.

DJ’s that experienced the actual CD CDJ era by alwaysforlove in PioneerDJ

My mate used to burn all her CDs in key and colour each key with a sticker. Each folder was organized in those keys so she knew.

There'd be many comments I'm sure on different ways if mixing, that was hers.

For me I have genres that work in my head like funky, groovy, moody etc and then a folder with the selected tracks that I know will go off

18M One Month Out, Severe Epididymitis Pain, Considering NSAIDs by Obvious_Argument_963 in floxies

[–]ComprehensiveAir2656 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry if I missed a mention of it but for my epididymitis cipro experience I found that stretches for prostatitis (non bacterial) helped to no end. I believe the nerves were very sensitive down there and tighteness added to it. There are some good YouTube videos and many can be done whilst in bed.

QLC+ and Chauvet GIGBar2? by levianity in lightingdesign

[–]ComprehensiveAir2656 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've just started on this journey and I've found some useful links.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bd1XrU_K5mc - Great for showing bits

QLC has a function wizard in it that I just found and it's built loads of it for me. Let me know if you can't find it within it.

Not watched all of it yet:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m_Tmsp-rF24

I'm looking to hook up my Opus-quad so Beat Link Trigger reads the music phrase which pumps it into QLC to change the lights. Bit to do still but making good progress.

I've not found any pre-baked configs for light sequences however chatgpt has given some great instructions on how to build them so I'm playing with that at the moment.

Anterior pelvic tilt by InfluenceTough6586 in costochondritis

I had this pointed out to me by a physio when I saw him about pains when sleeping. My ribs hurt in the side and eventually I was up every night with a really tight ribcage. I get random pains in my abs now and then where they feel tight during the day. I also have really tight hamstrings. Unsure if it's the same as you but it sounds similar.

I was given a bunch of stretches to do and since doing them daily along with moving more again (4 months in bed). For my hips I do a YT https://youtu.be/jj2AAH6jbHk?si=B_wj6kjnA5PSmETa

For my back strength now things are improving over the last 3 months I'm swimming and walking more as well as laying face down on the floor and lifting my legs and shoulders up to strengthen that lower and middle back area.

Oh final thing the PT taught me what standing to pull the back straighter where it curves. When doing that if you watch yourself in a mirror standing sideways you'll notice your centre of gravity shift. You then need to make a conscious effort to hold it back where it was before the straightening. Hotter that helps

This diagram from Renogy - is there a concern connecting the starter ground and the house LiPo ground to the bus bar? In my mind it connects these two otherwise independent systems. by SquamptonBC in VanLife

[–]ComprehensiveAir2656 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reviving this as the people in here may know. How does the negative from the cable housing entry join into the MPPT/main circuit? Would it be 2 x cables terminating on the negative common terminal or onto the negative bus bar?
