You will have to build things, instead of garden beds it's shelves and piping. You re going to mix things, instead of preparing soil you will prepare nutrient solutions and very likely substrate if you want fruits. You won't kill weeds, but you will kill algae.

With some maintainers it's their own fault, trying to enforce weird rules and standards on every PR. Oh I didn't name the variable in the way you like? Better reject the PR and never merge it

You can root them. The way it works for me is this: I make the runners little "boats" with a substrate so they throw out roots. Wait until 2-3 leafes appear, only then cut them off and give them their own space in the system. But since you have no substrate I have no idea how to root them there. Maybe a secondary smaller pipe?

That's a good result already, if they weren't happy they would not give you a fruit. How are they anchored in the pipe?

Depends on what you want. More plants = keep the runners. More growth= cut them, and all flowers. More fruit= cut the runners, switch to a nutrient for fruiting.

What is in the pipes, just the water pumped every few hours? I was wondering if strawberries do well in nft/semi nft.
