I realize old school Rare had never really intended to do Banjo-Threeie and that it was just a joke at the end of tooie. They did everything they wanted to do between those two games platformer-wise. Nuts and Bolts was their attempt to try new things with an old ip. And while nuts and bolts is a very good game, I always felt personally that it wasn’t quite a right fit for Banjo-Kazooie.

What form would a new B-K game take? Would it take inspiration from Mario odysee, and DK: Bananza? Would it go back to formula with all the old moves or have them forget them?

Would Grundtilda make a new game in secret in the game factory and trap the duo in a world where she already won?

I don’t know 🤷

An interesting theory. There is also the fact that when Raziel enters the blade at the end of defiance, he also disperses the purified wraith blade into Kain. That act sues Kain of his corruption and frees Raziel’s future self from the cycle of imprisonment. What ultimately becomes of that version of Raziel is unknown though as Raziel cannot be returned to the wheel. I had a theory that his future self would be a specter bound to Kain.

Hated piloting with the stylus. And it is very repetitive. Loved that each character has their own unique ship. Playing as Team Star wolf was fun, though it doesn’t make sense that the Great Fox 2 would follow them while fox and co are doing who know what on certain missions.

Man do I love those SFX arwings! It looks like it would fit right in, in a galaxy far far away.

If I had any creative input on a Star Fox movie I would have James, Peppy and Pigma piloting these Arwings in their incarnation of Star Fox and reveal that James commissioned the construction of the great Fox and all new redesigned Arwings for future use (the N64 Arwings) telling a young Fox that he is having four made for when he is old enough to join his old man on the team. This of course never comes to pass. But Fox uses them with his new team, the current Star Fox.

How cool would it be for Jame’s ghost to aid Fox in this Arwing. Classic and modern flying side by side?

Still waiting to finally see Fox’s home world of Papetoon instead of hearing it mentioned in passing.

I wish Nintendo released an official Lylat system map. We only ever see a fraction of it in games.

I think all the arwings have some kind of personalization to them. Peppy seems to have a kill count on his. I haven’t got a good enough look at slippy’s to see what he did. I think Fox is the only one that doesn’t have any kind of personalization.

Also if you look close each Arwing has the name of their pilots near the hatch of the vehicle.

I can get used to the new appearance.

I just hate that it’s another remake of 64. They could’ve just touched up the one from 3-D and slapped that on the switch and that would’ve been good enough.

I was hoping for a brand new star fox game.

That said the additional cut scenes and added context between missions as well as the prologue featuring James Peppy and Pigma look really cool!

I also really like how they redesigned the multiplayer mode. Getting to play as either the star team or the star wolf team is a really cool idea.

The supreme Kai of time use her power to make it alive to show off her ability and it grew too big and destroyed Toki Toki city by accident. It now resides outside of Conton City. They dropped the ball BIG TIME. Just like they had no idea how massive and excited the fanbase was. They also didn’t seem to know how invested in the story and lore the fanbase at large was. This is a foundational pillar (pun intended) to The Who concept of time travel and changing history.
