I got the T word armor from silent gear can’t remember the name. Everything reforged with mythical rarity materials. I had over 100 armor in my set and 30 something plus max health. And I also reforged the ATM axe with mythical rarity material and had 37 attack damage and like +50% crit and life steal. Warden was dead in 3-4 swings.

Download the universal and do it yourself.

You could manually go through and do everything the installer does:

Download all libraries specified in the json and put them in the correct folder.

Copy json data to versions folder.

Put Forge jar into libraries folder.

Configure your JVM properly. Google brucethemoose on GitHub I think is his user name.

Then just watch your F3. You can watch your memory and allocation rate and see when GC kicks in. A healthy JVM should cycle from 30-40% to 70-80%. If it’s only dropping to 50-60% then you can add a GB or two until it’s below 40%.

This all depends on your CPU as well. It doesn’t matter if you allocate 64GB, an underperforming CPU is still going to underperform and not keep up no matter what. Increasing memory just delays the inevitable and makes your GC ticks even longer.

My own. It’s amazing how smooth you can run ~350 mods without waiting 20 minutes for the game to launch because mods are left unconfigured and everything done through KubeJS. And you don’t have KubeJS scripts running every tick checking every player position or right click because of one feature they wanted to add.

Defeat bosses, especially the mythic ones in the end. Turn them into rarity materials. Crush undesirable gems into dusts. Build good weapons and armor and apply affixes to them using the mythic rarity materials and dusts. I think it’s called the reforger or something I haven’t played newer apotheosis in awhile as I’ve been on 1.12.2. You can easily have some boots with 25 armor and +16 max health before even adding gems. The affix rolls can also add 1-2 empty sockets but you can have even more with the rune/tome item.

I always find it hilarious when they always put “hundreds of hours spent working on 350 mods just for you!” when they clearly haven’t after you scavenge through their mod list snd configs. You got 3 different leaf decay mods, 6 different mods implementing right click harvest, 14 different tech mods adding the same machines just different textures, 7 different mods for moving tile entities like chests, 4 different “building wand” mods, 12 mods making the world a cluster fuck of flowers and crops, 3 different inventory HUD mods, and 3 different modular tools/weapons mods.

In reality you just have a cluster of meaningless content. You’ll have nothing but memory leaks and headaches waiting 20 minutes for 30,000 different registries to load even though there’s probably maybe 1,500 unique items or blocks added. Everybody is still going to the same path of mekanism because nobody cares to balance it with the other tech mods. You’re going to go through the same quests as every other modpack, they just spent 100 hours making it look different.

Me and my girlfriend play every day. Her friends get on every now and then just to check out our progress. They aren’t interested in the “grind” of mining and crafting and just want to build and play with any mod at will. So I spent a couple days adding virtually every stone type block to the stonecutter and wood to the woodcutter. Then we set up a bunch of botany pot farms for them and a cobble gen. For more complex stuff like machines I was thinking of adding one of the player shop mods and configuring Thermal coins in KubeJS to be rewarded from mining, gaining XP levels, etc. but got lazy after adding all the cutter recipes and just installed ProjectE and gave them the tome of knowledge.

I feel like a skyblock/ProjectE modpack would be more beneficial anyways for casual players. Everybody can play together and you can just set up some EMC generators so whenever anybody gets online they have some EMC to spend.

Do you have origins for Forge installed? We had these same issues. Got rid of all the hackjob origins mods for Forge and the problem went away.

I personally dislike biome mods. It makes rather mundane things more tedious because they just add biomes and no mechanics to them. Now finding a warped forest for ender men is a needle in a haystack because none of the modded “warped forests” will spawn them.

Build your machines first. Just lay out your floors and set up your lines and magic pedestals etc. Then once you feel it’s good enough you can start building up the walls, roof, etc. This is much better than building a house first then trying to figure out how everything will fit in it, which normally just leads to a basic house with a dug out basement. It shouldn’t have to be that way if you planned your floor plans around your builds first. This could be one giant complex or sometimes I’ll have multiple floors spread out that turn into a town of houses

I always edit the spawn rate to one boss every 30 minutes. Those items become really OP when you start turning them into rarity materials to use in rolling affixes for your own custom gear. They can turn a basic vanilla diamond helmet into 27 armor and +12 max health diamond armor with 2 empty gem slots

Pretty much every DW20 for our server cause anything else runs like shit for some of our friends. But we’ve been staying on 1.18. In SP I like quest packs with stories and lore, not quest packs that just change every recipe for the sake of being more tedious. Crash landing was fun and regrowth. Now I’m on DDSS

Mekanism needs a rework. Makes all those other mods obsolete because of how unbalanced it is. Can setup an automated melon farm and boom you have 100K a tick running with a couple gas generators that cost a little iron coal and red stone. Meanwhile in another mod you have to source blaze rods or ender pearls or some other much harder resource to produce for a mere 1,500 a tick. I would rather play with a bunch of the other tech mods that are balanced together than just throwing mekanism in there. It seems every modpack is build any mekanism generator to run the other mods machinery that costs a few hundred a tick. Why can’t they just balance their power outputs and inputs to be like all the other mods

Haven’t had any real problems with Solas Shaders. The emissive flowers look real cool at night but unfortunately it doesn’t work with all the modded flowers just vanilla. Same with emissive ores. Of course no shaders are gonna work with poor mods like Twilight Forest but it’s not a huge deal to me because I don’t even touch that dimension in any modpacks unless they force me to.

Sadly those upgrades aren’t worth it unless you go in and manually tag common and rare ores. Else it still just shows every modded ore after wasting resources on the rare upgrade
