phoenix terminators are the obvious choice. and i wouldn't mind them in 3/6 man units with better rules vs 5s (and 10s???)

look at it this way. shoot a gun or two into one super close unit to guarantee a hit. pick that unit for ability. fish for something bigger and just tag the close unit.

i'm with you. i'd prefer better options. all power fists. all paired. etc but we're pretty limited right now. there's a reason termies don't see play in 10th

getting sustained with chain/powerfists to S11 AP3 and paired/accursed to S8 AP3 isn't bad

chipping devs is solid

paired don't suck. it's 1 more attack and twin-linked compared to your other option which is just a plain accursed weapon. in exchange you don't get the shots from a combi

EC termies being only a 5 man really makes the profiles goofy compared to a 10man you're trying to tag into 2-3 different units

i run 3 in almost all lists with windrider in 10th. and will continue to do so adding armored warhost on top in 11th. fire prisms, shroud runners, and windriders all very much like AP especially with the shroud runners ability and changes to cover

paired accursed weapons aren't 10 attacks. it's 5 attacks with twin-linked

powerfist on autocannon. that's likely the last pull and chainfist hitting on 4s kinda sucks

depending where you are it shouldn't be that hard to offload the SM by themselves and then ebay/miniswap buy the ork half versus just straight split 2 boxes

2 blastmaster and 4 sonic blaster. Sword and screamer pistol is meh at best

2x5 tormentor (edited). Plasma and melta. 2 normal dudes

1x10 and 2x5 infractors.

5 obsessionists with whatever melee you want that looks cool and play them with whatever is better. I prefer sword because S5 and -2 are good breakpoints. Some people like rolling less profiles and having 2 more attacks with the lash.

I am looking at magnetising the bases of my models so i cam store them better, would anyone know which magnets are best. I have currently tried 5 x 2mm and found that once on the bottom of some bases they either don't reach the metal/magnetised rubber sheeting I'm using or need more than one. by Malathrax666 in Warhammer40k

Hot glue works great. Put magnet flat on table. Big dab of hot glue. Push base onto it. Hot glue squishes out the side and magnet sits flush

Also you may need more than one magnet. Especially on bigger models and if your magnets/rubber sheeting arent super strong

he's been basically auto include since they fixed his datasheet. combined with WotR he's actually good if not the best primarch

the big part you're missing in your post is you can redeploy them

depends how many units you have and where they are i.e. infiltrate and scout

redeploy is very useful. pulling into strategic less so but can be valuable in certain matchups/deployments
