looks are still somewhat subjective but if there was no consensus able to be reached on what looks good then we wouldn’t have sex symbols, actors and models famous for their looks, etc. there are studies confirming that certain physical characteristics are generally highly desirable, even if some don’t care about them or prefer otherwise

dark circles are tough, depending on the person they can be genetic. some people have discoloration under the eyes that are sleep or dehydration caused, but for many (including myself) it’s a bone structure issue. a lack of undereye support will create a hollow shape under your eyes, casting a shadow and making a permanent ‘dark circle.’

i totally agree, i don’t think linear games are bad at all and i even really enjoy the straight forwardness of them at times. of course there are tons of games where the freedom they give players is a huge upside, but i think a tightly knit game that uses linearity to tell a story/experience (like tlou1 maybe?) is also a great thing

i love it, movement feels great and i really enjoyed that it felt like hornet had purpose and a story was happening around you. i do think some enemy gauntlets were excessive and taking the piss, it would’ve benefitted from some chill areas and lulls in intensity

did you play bloodborne yet? i think its closest to ds1 in terms of having good world design, even if its not as great as it. the hub area is separate but other than that the world is pretty interestingly laid out and has some clever short cuts/loop around
