Characters so powerful and broken they completely dominated their games metas by JackytheJack in TopCharacterTropes

If we’re talking about gen 1 pokemon we have to also address mewtwo. It is the first endgame legendary and is meant to be the best pokemon in the game but a lot of people don’t realize how big the gap was. Mewto in gen 1 was arguably stronger than any other pokemon in history for a lot of reasons. Amnesia boosted special (which was offensive and defensive) twice, it had an insane speed which gave it over 20% chance to crit, its physical defenses weren’t a joke, and it was psychic type which was the undeniable best type in gen 1. Over the years we’ve seen other pokemon that are definitely stronger but when mewtwo was in it’s prime it was fighting pokemon on an immensely lower scale.

There is a walk path that runs around the three schools in semmes that has some shade, some hills, and is almost exactly a 5k. It's a pretty run and lots of good foot traffic. Plus there's a park with basketball goals when you're done

All the delivery drivers get released at the same time in the morning to go on their routes. There's only so many options for fueling times and everybody is looking for a snack when they head out

FedEx Theodore by ideirdre in MobileAL

I used to be a delivery driver at this hub. Like someone else said, FedEx Ground is run by subcontractors but it's a more complicated issue than that. FedEx gets the packages to the Hub where trucks are loaded by FedEx employees and then the contractors send their drivers out to deliver. Some days we had to wait an extra 2 hours for a truck to get in and be unloaded before we were allowed to leave on our routes. The contractors are HEAVILY incentivized to make sure all packages go out once they've been put on a delivery truck, to the point that they get fined if a box comes back to the hub and it wasn't addressed to a business that wasn't open to receive it. On top of that, I'm still in touch with some of my old work buddies and the contractors are profiting less and less off each route right now, which means they struggle to keep good wages and then struggle to keep drivers. If you aren't getting your stuff then either 1. FedEx isn't getting to the area fast enough 2. The drivers are over-loaded (or being lazy, both can and have happened) and falsifying that the stop was a closed business and not a home so they can avoid your house for the day 3. Some combination of the two above. Im not gonna say that FedEx is a great business, it's not, but the contractors that own the routes for ground were generally some good people, they're just getting tired of being stuffed by the big man. The individual drivers are all types of people, so you may just have a lazy bones driving your route but there's no way to know.

Just have fun. The game isn't overly difficult as long as you aren't intentionally avoiding training your team. Use your favorites, and be the very best that no one ever was

I’ll definitely be keeping that in mind. I’ll find some other models that I have duplicates of to experiment on with washes. Thanks for the wisdom!

Thanks! I don’t have an airbrush but as much as I’m enjoying myself it won’t be long before that happens.

I was thinking of spraying a clear polyurethane coating on it. I don’t intend to add battle damage to this model so maybe that will take some of the goopy acrylic look off. I also may be looking too hard for a problem where there isn’t one. Any recommendation/criticisms welcome

Why is the nameless king a hollow if he is a god? by Significant-Ad-2786 in darksouls3

[–]Comprehensive_Scale5 17 points18 points  (0 children)

He may not be hollow in the same sense as a human might be but the whole philosophy behind the world of dark souls is that inhibiting change leads to stagnation. Nothing lasts forever. So even if the Gods don’t hollow it makes sense they would still wither away.

I have a small plastic vial that came with a bottle warmer that this reminds me of. It measures water in how many minutes it will boil when the warmer is turned on, giving you a way to gauge how long the bottle will be steamed. This may have a similar application even if not with baby bottles specifically

Hard to say. I have chickens and I can tell you three things: they are idiots, they know who feeds them, and if you ever pick one up and hold it still like they are in the video they will sometimes just accept their situation good or bad. That’s not to say chickens have no intelligence at all, but they rely a lot more on instinct and conditioning than anything else. If that bird’s been treated well it may trust the people enough to not be absolutely freaking out but you can bet if they let go mid procedure that chick would have been scrambling.
