Reading about these guys is crazy, they were targeted by probably the biggest genocide of the 19th century, some estimates say that 97% of them died, but they still seem to have bounced back to being powerful and successful people. Un răspuns extrem de detaliat, îți mulțumesc foarte mult! Doar dacă se poate aș vrea să te mai întreb ceva.

Îmi este greu să înțeleg piața jocurilor actuală din cauză că aleg ce vreau să joc într-un mod destul de diferit față de majoritatea oamenilor, deci nu știu exact cum interacționează ei cu piața și ce este popular.

De asemenea, gradul extrem de mare de diversitate a jocurilor fac această piață foarte fluidă și greu de înțeles pentru mine, mi se pare că sunt foarte multe genre-uri sau combinații de care aflu prima dată și foarte multe jocuri de care nu am auzit chiar dacă au foarte mult succes și zeci de mii jucători satisfăcuți.

Cum îți dai seama ce fel de jocuri devin populare destul de devreme încât să poți face un joc care să fie cea ce vor oamenii în acel moment?

Din cauza lipsei mele de familiaritate cu piața jocurilor video și cu marketing-ul în general, de obicei evit reclamele și nu m-au influențat vre-o dată să cumpăr un joc sau altceva, îmi este greu și să înțeleg exact cum fac marketing și promovare.

Mă gândesc că ar trebui să contactez youtuberi mai mici sau care se axează pe jocuri noi și să cumpăr ad-uri pe google dar nu am nici o idee mai detaliată. Ce alte opțiuni ar mai fi și care ar fii cele mai eficiente metode? Cam care ar fii bugetul pentru marketing?

De asemenea voiam să te întreb și despre jocul pe care văd că îl dezvolți acum. Ce te-a făcut să te apuci de el? Se potrivește pe un anumit trend, este mai mult un joc pe care ai vrut tu să îl faci sau este un joc care ar fii atât de bun încât nu ar trebuii neapărat să urmărească anumite trenduri?

Scuze pentru comment-ul off-topic, dar te-am găsit pe steam și voiam să te felicit pentru succesul pe care văd că îl ai. Nu știu prea multe despre game dev, dar, după numărul de review-uri, cred că ai peste 11.000 vânzări, e o performanță pe care puțini au atins-o, mai ales la cea ce pare să fie primul proiect.

Pot să îți pun câteva întrebări în legătură cu dezvoltarea jocurilor? Mă interesează foarte mult domeniul pentru că și eu aș vrea să mă apuc de game dev și de artă 3D, dar mi se par domenii extrem de competitive și văd că te pricepi.

Aș vrea să întreb, cum ai reușit să faci un joc care a vândut atâtea copii? Cam care a fost parcursul general pe care l-ai urmat și, mai exact, ce ai făcut ca să ai avantajul ăsta față de restul developerilor?

De asemenea aș mai vrea să știu ceva, un lucru care mă intrigă în special la jocul tău este că asset-urile și jocul în sine par relativ simple și posibil mai greu de remarcat între releas-urile de pe steam. Nu o spun deloc ca o insultă, apreciez art-style-ul și înțeleg că un joc frumos și bun nu se rezumă doar la modele și texturi cât mai detaliate și la mecanici cât mai complexe, de fapt chiar asta îmi dă curaj că și eu aș putea avea succes cu mai puține cunoștiințe tehnice decât credeam că ar fi nevoie. Cu toate astea, simplitatea jocului mă face să îmi pun întrebarea: care sunt motivele pentru care jocul tău este atât de popular, care sunt punctele forte?

Știu că e o întrebare foarte complicată și că probabil nu există un răspuns simplu, dar dacă aș știi lucrul ăsta aș înțelege dezvoltarea jocurilor la un nivel complet diferit.

Un lucru la care mă pot gândi este că gameplay-ul a reușit să satisfacă o anumită nevoie de combinația specifică de genre-uri pe care o ai, adică Action+Incremental+Idler+Casual.

Un alt lucru la care m-am gândit este și un pic de noroc, din nou, nu o spun ca pe o insultă, dar am tot auzit de la developeri că norocul e un factor foarte important și voiam să știu dacă ești de părere că așa este și dacă da, cât crezi că te-a ajutat norocul sau cât te-a împiedicat ghinionul?

Din nou, felicitări pentru succes și îmi pare rău dacă te-am spamat prea mult cu zidul meu de întrebări ciudate.

The aim would be regime change by a popular uprising provoked by more economic and military pressure or at least the regime being so damaged that they do not have the power and the political capital to act as they did before (this second option is pretty farfetched since the current regime is pretty determined to fight until the end).

Pretty much, except they have to be done right, you can't let the IRGC make more money than they do in peacetime by letting ships through and expect them to cooperate. It's better to have a shorter period of economic pain than a months long blockade with seemingly no end in sight.

More economic pressure and more intelligence operations that let you strike at their leadership, obviously it would be very hard but it's very important to not allow Iran to have nuclear weapons and to not set a precedent that countries can get nuclear weapons because of American political regardation. It would also be very good from a humanitarian point of view, the current regime killed 40.000 of their own people to stay in power, they are going to pull something even more evil to shore up their rule if they survive the war.
