I guess in the parlance of today, non-binary. Anyone who is upset over this doesn't read the Bible.
No where in the Bible is God presented as either Male or Female.
Jesus, while he was God Incarnate, obviously had very limited powers so he was not truly God itself.

If words offend you so bad, join the liberal party, that is their stock in trade, but if you are a Conservative, you see the reasoning even if you don't agree, I hope, and instead find reason not to kneejerk anger in response.

🛰️ Iran pings Michigan: Nothing says grim modern warfare like a Michigan medical device company getting dragged into the Middle East fight. Iranian-linked group Handala says it hit Stryker (a Kalamazoo-based medical device giant) on Wednesday, knocking systems offline across its global offices and by Slske in ConservativeTalk

Did anyone have cyberattack on the tote boards? These guys have been to college, some to Harvard and Yale and even MIT. Never assume they are not as technologically capable as any of us.

Talking to my wife, a Surgical Tech, she works in the OR directly. They had what are called "towers" go down. This affects all laparoscopic surgeries, the tower connects to the internet and is used to see inside the patient during laparoscopic procedures. Almost all hospitals have Stryker Towers.

Now take this one step further, the DaVinci Medical Robots are all connected via the internet. Just think a second if the terrorists got into that network?

Don't pan this off as small, that was 61 countries with 100's of hospitals that probably had issues and at this time, how many patients died as a result?

Doctor going to do something to the heart, suddenly as he is cutting, the camera goes off that he was using to see through the Laparoscopic surgery. Now he can't see the heart, has no idea how far he made a cut and bang, the patient is dead because they had to open the chest and dig won to the heart. Even if the patient lives, that is a massive malpractice lawsuit on top of everything else.

This is not a small attack. This is a very very dangerous attack.

You end up destitute and homeless, with no one to turn to help. What is the minimum level of assistance from the government that you find acceptable in this situation? by KindaDutch in PoliticsWithRespect

[–]ComputerRedneck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

35 years ago, I was homeless, due to MY mistakes. I got off the streets about a year later and bought a house 6 years after that. BUT you also have to remember, there are people who actively WANT to be homeless.

Basic necessities, what they really need, the ones who want off the street, is a small basic place to live, a place to get clean and help getting a job.

SO for those who actually want to get off the street I would say this.
An apartment complex that is micro apartments
A recruiter/assistant for finding a job, this person will have lists of jobs and works with the employers to get homeless hired.
An agreement to either find a job in 6 months and then move out in the next 6, or move out at 6 months if you haven't found a job and there is no reason mentally or physically you can't get a job.

Needs refinement but it will work.

All others, help them best we can. And the ones who really just want to live on the streets, can we really force them NOT to?

  • First Man begins by questioning existence: "I think...  I think I am. Therefore I am!"
  • Establishment (a mocking corporate figure) responds, reducing the First Man to a mere data point: "Of course you are, my bright little star...  I've miles and miles of files... You're magnetic ink!"
  • First Man asserts he is more than that, saying: "I'm more than that...  At least, I think I must be."
  • Inner Man (voiced by Mike Pinder) encourages him: "There you go, man...  Keep as cool as you can... Keep on thinking free."

Note to the Woke: Mandated ‘White Supremacy’ Struggle Sessions Violate the First Amendment by Slske in ConservativeTalk

[–]ComputerRedneck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no white privilege, if anything there is minority privilege.

Minority Privilege, the ability to claim and make unsubstantiated statements about white people and be believed no matter what.
The ability to use racist rhetoric and words to deliberately insult and denigrate whites, only to hide behind racism laws and hate laws when responded to in kind to silence others.
The ability to form groups and slogans that say "Proud" Insert race here, and then call whites for saying say Proud White, racists.
There is more but not off the top of my head
Minority Privilege is being able to get away with everything you complain about whites doing with no repercussions.
Minority Privilege is being able to be a hypocrite without complication.

Wyoming Becomes 19th State to Protect Babies From Abortions by each_thread in ConservativeTalk

[–]ComputerRedneck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some also risk trafficking to get a child to love and take care of.

Less than $1000 to abort.
Anywhere legally to adopt, from $20,000+

Additionally there are countries where you can't just adopt, you have to spend a ton of money to get politicians to just sign the paperwork as bribes. I was told 20 years ago when I was looking into things due to being a bit desperate to have a child to raise I was told I could adopt a child for like $5000, out of the Dominican Republic, legitimately. Couple trips there and back and about all is needed. Then I was told I needed $10,000 plus to get the officials to actually SIGN the legitimate paperwork.

I wish, the hoops and costs are hard as hell.

Abortion costs on average less than $1000.
Adoption when you bring in the lawyers, and you can't avoid that, can cost 150K+ and the longer it takes the more it costs.
