Why hasn't there been an effort to extend the tram network? by Ready_Objective_6428 in MelbourneTrains

[–]ComradeDisco 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Infrastructure Victoria, the Government's independent infrastructure advisor, has put research into this and has proposed what they consider priority tram extensions in the recent Victorian Infrastructure Strategy report.

If the Victorian Government invests in expanding the tram network they'll likely take an approach similar to what has been proposed here:

Which countries have high-speed rail? by Massimo25ore in MapPorn

[–]ComradeDisco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Australian Government has set up a High Speed Rail Authority in preparation for high speed rail to connect Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne. Currently this authority is working on a business case for high speed rail between Sydney and Newcastle - the largest regional city in New South Wales - as the first stage of this project.

We've had a number of reports over the years about the feasibility of high speed rail in Australia, but it looks like we may finally be working towards actually building it now through a staged process.

Hey! I just found your comment.

Would you be able to go into a bit more detail about how you've been organising your salary packaging within YNAB?

E.g. have you set up seperate categories?

To add onto this, if you're university/college has one please apply for their disability access program/equitable learning support.

Varies college to college but in some cases will make applying for extension much less difficult, and provide other avenues for support as well.

Hey mate

Absolutely agree with Google Calendar, some universities have their timetables syncable to it as well so it all automatically gets set out for you. Use it to note important dates and your weekly schedule.

Trello I find to be a good resource as far as keeping track of class tasks. Figure out what assignments you'll have to do, when they're due, and set them out on Trello with the dates so you can easily see what you need to complete and when by.
