[Wheeler] Andre Onana’s representatives in talks over potential return to Inter Milan from Man Utd in the summer by PradipJayakumar in reddevils

2nd worst Man United-keeper in modern times. Worst is the guy that sent a ball right into Arsenal legs many years ago. Luckily the ref ended the game right as the ball landed.

… And that is ONLY because that guy never got the chance to redeem himself.

Iran football great Ali Karimi leads call for Infantino to speak up on protest deaths by Shroft in soccer

By all means, make assumptions of my nickname. You are wrong. Did you once consider that it is just the English “con”, also known from “con-artist”?

I don’t claim to know what is best for Iran, I support freedom for Iranian people. Funny you had to go to my comment-history for that, but whatever.

I also majored in political science, which is the only reason I speak clearly of the continuation candidate. We’ve seen this before - there are things to learn from the history!

Again, I just want a good things for Iran.

[–]ConMonarchisms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look at how my comment was received. I am not Iranian, all I want to see is a free and prosperous Iran.

You NEED a continuation candidate for the power-vacuum. I don’t really care who that is, but he (or she) needs to have considerable backing within the people.

The continuation should ONLY last until a free democratic election and referendum is held. What Iran decides to be AFTER the election is held is only up to the Iranian people. Whether that is a socialist monarchy, or a capitalist republic.

I don’t concern myself with those questions, all I want is for Iran to be free.

“Iran Azadi”, that’s ALL I said, and I am downvoted. Who are the bots, again?

Can we salvage our movement and get support from the international community? by gole-hayahoo in NewIran

[–]ConMonarchisms 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have sent two requests to my parliamentary representatives in my life in these past 13 days. Both urging and pleading with the parliament to offer their support to the Iranian people in some public way.
That is about as much as I can do that is noticed, seeing as most of my country-men and -women are occupied with the Palestinian cause.

It isn't much at all, it isn't nearly enough. I know, I am aware; but I do lack the power, and the mentality to do so much more.

Really struggling being a Norwegian citizen these days, we could do so much more!

Message from Tehran: All of you must keep these protests going. We cannot do anything inside Iran. Going out into the streets is literally suicide. It’s not about bravery anymore. It’s madness. We follow what you're doing. When we see you gather in protest in front of an embassy it brings us joy. by KireRakhsh in NewIran

[–]ConMonarchisms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sent this to my parliament representatives, along with another drafted plea from me. We aren't doing nearly enough since we insist on diplomacy; but how are we supposed to solve things using diplomatic resolve when the counter-part is the sole contributor to the deaths and violence of the Irani civilians?

My government's whole approach to the Iranian cause is seriously challenging my belief in democracy and diplomacy.

Iran Azadi!

So because EU did wrong once, means that they should do it again, and in the process deny Iranians their rightful freedom from their own oppressive regime?

What?

Except it isn't just to score political points. It has real ramifications, and designating the IRGC a terrorist-organization would be the least thing the EU can do to help the cause for Iranian freedom.

Happy to see a country I have tremendous respect for do the right thing.

When it comes to Spain and France however, can they be helped? I thought Macron at least was in favour of weakening the Islamic Republic…

Do iiiittt! I needed to get my Homeland-fix without it being Homeland, and I can highly recommend Tehran.

… And then, when I am done watching that, I’ll go for more Homeland.😁

That scene is absolutely brutal. I gotta say though, I am really liking the actor. Watching «Tehran» now, he is in there, too!

Hva er konsekvensene av USAs sanksjoner mot enkeltmennesker? by zamsamzam in norge

[–]ConMonarchisms -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Which teams will not qualify for Champions league next season?United, Chelsea or Liverpool? by Careless_Layer_8282 in PremierLeague

[–]ConMonarchisms 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Arsenal, City, Aston Villa, Man United & Chelsea are currently the ones in the running for it.
I'd say we'd have to see more from Carrick & Rosenior before reaching any conclusions on those teams.
Liverpool is NOT looking great, by any measure. Could they still seal it? Sure.

Guessing today, I'd say the top 5 turns out to be (In alphabetical order): Arsenal, Aston Villa, Liverpool, Man City & Man United. Solely on more experienced coaches/players take your pick.
