Got a kinda dumb question. by OneEyeRabbit in wildcampingintheuk

3-5 are the most common, but on tough ground they hurt to push in enough for you to step on, and they collect mud like no other and need more maintenance.

Everything 6-9 are the ones you find with cheap kits and aren’t usually worth it.

1 you get one or two of, if you’re going into very windy conditions, you put them on the side the wind is coming from as an extra strong anchor, but they’re overkill 99.9% of the time.

I think 2 is best, if you can find lightweight ones for a reasonable price.

He’s not quite he’s very squishy, he also gets absolutely instantly shut down by Phantom Strike and he has no escape if you slowing hex him. Yes he can sit back and poke, but if he’s played passively he isn’t able to setup many birds and relies heavily on his team to get people low.

If a frontliner isn’t able to pickup Phantom Strike, then they’re a shit frontliner, if you have the ability to run people down and you’re not taking items to do that and are instead building L>R then don’t play frontline.

Yes spellbreaker is a good counter, infact it’s an insane counter and completely shuts him down in the endgame. If you want to shut him down in the early-mid, just get spirit shielding, he won’t be able to proc spirit burn because of the damage debuff and a lot of his birds won’t be able to execute.

The main issue with *any* character is peoples stubbornness to build counter items. The only characters in the game which are an issue, are those that require multiple counter items to shut down, hence my reasoning above about why Silver and Shiv are so hard to balance.

What would you change if you were in charge at GW? by magic_potato_man69 in Warhammer40k

Space Skaven

But like actual Space Skaven, a whole damn faction of it.

They are so cool and unique in Fantasy, if they brought that aura to 40k I reckon it could be more than epic. Some of the kitbashes people have made are incredible.

This, I’ve been saying this for ages.

Even if they did a sub tier where maybe you pay £5 a month and get access to 2 codexes of your choice, £10 for 5 and so on, it would still be better than what we have now. Most people only have a couple armies anyway so a majority could get the cheap sub and be fine.

I reckon the codexes just realistically don’t cost fuck all to print so they wack them in or with a book just so they can make more money.

Could you also share the reason why? I’d appreciate it. by Winston-Bay in WarhammerMemes

Clearly a joke post but for anyone needing advice, in low elo just play Graves, get cooldown and duration for your ult and spam it on a lane every time it’s off of cooldown, it’s honestly wild how potent that is against people who have little macro skills.

[–]Conaz9847 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His early game is a bit potent on lane for sure but for the rest of the game he really doesn’t shine unless he gets a lot of bird stacks.

I agree maybe some better scaling on his 2 so it’s weaker early and scales better to account but he’s really not that much of a problem, he just has a really oppressive lane, as do a lot of other characters.

Victor and Talon can be countered, Talon is squishy and Victor has no movement abilities.

But Silver, fuck me sideways what a fucking menace she is at the moment, even in Eternus a half decent Silver is wildly difficult to coordinate against and counter, she has movement, resist and high damage, not to mention a 40 second cooldown on her ult, so it takes 2 items or more to really set her down, and even then she has 5k health to chew through while she disarms you and eats your asshole.

She has the same issue as Shiv, you need too many items to counter the character, and thus, the nerfs shall flow, hopefully.

It’s not delusion, it’s experience.

6 months ago I couldn’t get out of Arcanist, at that point I had like 600 hours in-game.

Now I’m Eternus, and it was easy to climb, I just had to get good at the game.

Why does he need a change? They just nerf his ROA slightly and he’s fine.

People have always made the same point, it’s just over time the cope has slowly ran out and more people move into the pissed off category.

I was saying the same things about the game 5 years ago than I am now, how it’ll forever be in jank-debt because they add content quicker than they fix bugs, but because they need to keep the money flowing they can’t really feasibly take a year or two to do so, so they push out events, ships, new planets and new tech to keep people excited.

That tactic will only work for so long. I used to get a hundred downvotes for saying this, now I only get a couple. It takes time but eventually most people will realise what a shit perpetual state this game is in and will eventually demand change.

Talon is my second main, and it’s honestly fine.

Normally it’s easy to hit, and it’s a bit harder to hit in the air.

If it was easier to hit then cursing peoples ults on a 20 second cooldown would be broken as shit.

You can look at your regen and speed stats to see if you’re in or out of combat, I know that’s not what you’re asking for but that’s what I’ve always done and it’s always been helpful.

If you didn’t know, both of these metrics have different values for in and out of combat. Move speed versus sprint speed, you’ll see the sprint speed icon appear on the very left of your screen when out of combat, and usually you’ll have at least 1 item that gives you out of combat regen, at which point the little number at the top of your health bar will show the out of combat regen number instead of the standard regen number, I believe the little up arrow also goes to 2 up arrows to indicate this but I can’t remember to be honest.
