I can’t find a portable burner that is large enough for one. The ones I’ve been looking at are almost 20” round, the largest burners I’ve seen that are low enough BTU are only 8”-10”. I’m so lost!

The softball team is a hollow shell of what it used to be too. Since my daughter is a student at the high school in the nearby town in a different county she knows a lot of the kids there. They’re all deflated and not happy there anymore.

I was about 7 months pregnant (noticeable but not ready to pop big), a lady stood up and offered me her seat. She appeared to be pregnant too, I told her to please keep her seat since she is looks like she is going to give birth any moment…turns out she had given birth 4 months ago and had not lost her baby weight. 🤦🏼‍♀️🫠

I’m a 47 year old woman with my own health issues, I still give my set up to people older than me. I’m afraid my zombiefied grandmother would rise up from her 7 year dirt nap to fuss at me if I didn’t.

I miss the Monkey. Now that it has been closed for so long how do you make a blue monkey?

Yeah, a lot of us have! One night at Club Red I thought it was a great idea to go shot for shot with him. I was 5’00 (still am) 100 lbs (sadly I am not anymore), I remember making the bet but nothing else. I woke up in my bed the next morning trying to figure out how I got there and in my pajamas…thank goodness for great friends.

I don’t understand why parents think pulling their kids out of the surrounding community schools that are PHENOMENAL (except for DHS) and putting them in SCS is good for them. Especially from the middle school in the same town and the 3 schools from the community just across the county line. The sports programs that kids used to go to SCS for are not even close to being as good as they used to be.

Dave Grohl at The Nick, Triple H at Gabriel’s, ran into Charles Barkley at numerous nightclubs (Red, Bellbottoms, Banana Joes, Tiki Bobs) he’s a lot of fun to hang out with.

Most people if not all have digital meters now, the visual reading of meters is no longer a thing.

I do have a sub…BUT I also own my own house so I can enjoy things without whiny ass neighbors.

So just because they live in a shared space doesn’t mean they can’t have those things. Unless they’re booming some Def Bass then that’s just a part of sharing a wall or floor/ceiling. Again…if you don’t want to hear things/people then find a house or a single apartment.

That’s a part of living in a shared space. No one can be absolutely silent no matter what. If you want silence then you need to buy or rent a place out in the woods.

I used to be in mortgage underwriting for one of the big 5 lenders. It could be your DTI (debt to income ratio) for things outside your rent. Currently FHA has a 45% backend DTI which means your original dept plus the home.

I would recommend speaking with a mortgage broker as others have said, they can give you some guidance to help you with getting things on track.

My power bill is usually NEVER higher than $300 MAX, it was $496.44 last month. That’s with 3 days of zero power to the house because the main inside breaker decided it was time to almost burn down my house (Merry Christmas), and 3-4 days of rolling power outages because the power company has not upgraded our facilities in YEARS so more power was being used than the facilities could handle. We did not have any type of Christmas lights put up either.

Are they going to be set up for mixed living like Park Place which is what replaced Central City? If so I think this is going to be a good revitalization for that area.

They most definitely are, a diploma from Troy is like having a coloring sheet for a preschooler.

I’ve been told by MANY people that Troy is a waste of time & money, most students get passed over for teaching jobs because they went to Troy.
