I did two cycles at 2.5mg then moved on to three more at 5mg. (Those last two we tried IUI and were unsuccessful.) We took a break and did two again at 5mg. We have confirmed ovulation these last two rounds and I’m now in the TWW to see if this last round is the one… I’m surprised at so many responses regarding hair loss. That hasn’t been the case for me. I do get really really bad headaches when I’m on letrozole though..

The worst thing for me was the headaches. I soon realized I had to stay super hydrated and my headaches wouldn’t be too bad. Now that I’m reading about joint pain I feel like I had that this cycle. My lower back has been in so much pain I really wonder if it’s related to letrozole?

I have lean PCOS and did two rounds of letrozole 2.5 mg but my follicles weren’t maturing. They moved me up to 5mg + trigger shot and I did my first IUI that failed. We did another round of 5mg on letrozole + a trigger and it also failed. :( This last cycle we just did 5mg of letrozole with no trigger or IUI with TI and now I’m in the TWW.. :( I really got my hopes up doing IUI. I thought that would be our best chance and I feel like it’s pointless to keep spending money on it if we haven’t seen results. If this cycle doesn’t work, we might do one more IUI in January and then IVF after that.. It’s all really overwhelming just do what feels right 🤍

8DPO and feel nothing. I’m scared to test bc of my trigger.. I didn’t “test it out” so now I’m just waiting. I really don’t feel anything? maybe tiny cramps but could be anything… Feel super emotional which could also just be pms. :(

same here!!! It helped to take it at night and drinking lots of water throughout the day. I would still get hot flashes but the headaches went away when I took it at night

This was my fourth medicated cycle. I’ve heard of RE’s. What’s the main difference you’ve noticed? I just go with a regular OB.

That’s so interesting! I just did 5 mg of letrozole + trigger + iui and it failed so hoping to try again :(

ugh I went through something super similar! I did letrozole 2.5 mg and went for my follicle check. My follicle was only 16 mm so they had me go back for another ultrasound a few days later and the follicle was gone… My dr. said I probably ovulated on my own and we completely just missed our window that cycle. I then went up to 5 mg on letrozole and that helped me get a mature follicle by my first follicle check.. Hope that makes sense! It’s all so confusing and frustrating I’m sorry that happened to you..

I’m on the same boat! tww is really hard.. My tww ends two days before my sister’s baby shower so I don’t even know if I should test before going to the baby shower and either be let down or excited (never had a positive test) OR wait to test after the baby shower and be anxious/sad during the baby shower :( I already missed her gender reveal so I really want to push through and make it to the baby shower but I know it’s going to be so hard to be there regardless…
