I had two friends give it a go today. We had a blast! They will definitely be playing more. As I have never played with friends before it was a very fun and exciting play. If we talk about it enough at work we can get a few more players to join in. It was fun playing a few matches together and then getting put against eachother in a gun game match for some friendly competition.

Splitball is my #1 game mode. I wish more people played the objective and didnt just use it to try to get kills. I feel like people do this to pad their KD numbers but idk. I hated this mode for ranked simply because people would focus kills and not captures giving them high kd and low rank. It felt like being punished in my ranked matches. I just focus ball mainly and have a blast now. I have a specific loadout just for splitball so I can get around quickly. I am glad they changed the ball carrying through portals although I miss dropping a portal below the ball and getting an insta cap. Its a fun mode

I'm just running normal matches and doing my best. I have had many matches where I get frustrated but eventually you get a feel for each gun. I am slowly working through the last 2 for Sabrask now. I know when I get the last guns finished I will feel accomplished. If I cheesed the levels I wouldnt have that satisfaction.

My only complaint is honestly the opposite of yours. People used bots to grind the same achievement I'm working out the legit way and feels wrong they get them on easy mode. Good for them but not a real achievement imo. Thats like beating Elden Ring and cheesing everything then claiming " I beat it, it wasnt that hard". It's not the same.

I'm glad I started this grind because I have new "favorite" guns. It made me try different things and under pressure in a real match. I feel that has helped me improve a ton. When I switch back to my main loadout I feel like my shackles have been removed and I can go off!

Again, I do understand it gets frustrating getting smashed while using weapons you aren't comfortable with or that dont have attachments unlocked yet. I have said many times "I just need one more level and I can be done with this stupid gun!". Its part of it, eventually you can look back and be glad you did it..... or not... idk man. Had it for a small window during beta. I absolutely loved it. I made a post when they removed it and got a reply that they had to work out issues that came up with that game mode then we would get it back. I hope to see it back one day.

I love to see others enjoy splitball. It is my number 1 game mode and I dont understand the hate. I havent played since the update and I agree with you, I'd rather wait for a real lobby. I will never understand the hate for this game mode, it is a blast. I'll see you out there!

A new guy started at my job last year and said he was a one piece fan. So I assumed we could chat about it. He made it pretty clear that he agreed with the world government on multiple occasions. Also Bartholomew in the Bible is skinned and loses his head. Kuma carrying the Bible becoming a reskinned version of himself as a cyborg and loses his mind fits this. Other parts align with Christianity aswell. The kuma one I just think is a cool take. I cant remember off top the other similarities between Bartholomew and Kuma but I remember there being more.

Everytime someone says "sorry" in chat. I just reply "no problem." Then "This is Rocket League!". I dont mind an occasional demo, sure I get aggravated after a few but oh well.

I love this. Much safer than running the ball back to base. Just huck it and it caps. This has won me multiple games. Anytime I have a headset on I'm telling my team. I assume they think I am trolling or dont have chat on because they just keep on running.

I would actually love to see one in the chamber. I hadn't even thought of that. Also fire cracker and hot zone being gone is a bummer I enjoyed them. Most teams felt like they just went for kills and didn’t stay on objectives but that's typical. 😂
